While planning this session I got to know this family the old fashioned way, emails and personal shutterfly galleries. 🙂 I have to admit with each email I got more excited to meet Shannon, Wes and the super adorable Scarlett. Being the mother of my own Scarlett I had high expectations of this little lady, and let me tell you she surpassed everyone. She is smart, adorable, and even a bit sassy, perfection! The entire family was adorable and welcoming. I just love it when the family wants to shoot in their home, it is always fun to include people’s personalities and art. We had a great time snapping away, playing with Scarlett’s great toys and squeaky shoes!

Check out the whole family. They have a great neighborhood and yard to shoot in. I just loved this old moss covered tree, perfect for a cute baby in a darling winter coat right.

As the mother of two little ones I always love being around other families welcoming in their second child. There is something about that love between siblings, especially when they are brand new that just kills me. Just over a week ago I had the chance to hang out with just such a family. The O family was welcoming their second girl, and what a sweet girl she is. At 5 weeks old she is super sweet. Chubby cheeks and clear blue eyes, such cuteness! She joins a beautiful big sister, the whole family was just wonderful to work with. I have SO many photos from this session it is kind of ridiculous.
