love for baby brother

You might remember the Curtis family from this past August. We had a great time running around Edgefield together and celebrating a certain little lady’s first birthday. Well they are back with their brand new addition, and oh my is he a cutie!I always love seeing how babies and families grow with time, and sessions like these are my favorites. Really I have the best job ever. Even was perfect for me, and the whole family was up for anything. Even if big sister had some jealous moments (as an older sister I totally understand!) she was sweet as pie for me.

Here are my favorites from the session so far:

How cute is this little family of 4 now!

Little miss has lots of love for her baby brother.

Emry has gotten even more adorable in the past months since our first session can you tell. 🙂

sweetness!

And little lady is still happy to be in the spot light. Again as a big sister my self I totally get that!

After frolicking with the whole family for a while we got down to little Evan’s time in the spotlight.

Ahh he was SO good for me. Such an angel.

Those cheeks are just delish!

He was a great little sleeper too.

he even put up with my crazy ideas raiding mom’s scarves for this set.

I love the new chubby cheeks and little baby rolls.

Once he woke up with had some special time with mama.

clearly he is comfy in her arms, as it should be!

We also got some with daddy, I love the juxtaposition of daddy’s strong arms and the sweet little baby.

We event looped back in big sister for a second!

and one last shot of the little guy. Such a sweet face!

Kristi thanks again for having me out to capture your newest addition. He is just perfection! I had a great time seeing you all again. I hope you love your sneak peek. and then there were 4

Quick look up, you see the rotating banner on this very blog? If you wait long enough there is a ridiculously cute little girl in a pink sweater against a green wall. See it? That was last October, and allot has changed since then. That very girl is now a BIG SISTER! Exciting stuff. It was my honor to capture the new little brother and family of four. Simon is just as cute as his big sister. He was such a boy for me too! I had a great time with the whole family.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Meet Simon, he is already such a dapper little lad. 🙂

And yes Claire did get cuter, as if it were possible. 🙂

These two were so sweet together. Miss Claire is already such a loving big sister.

The whole family was just adorable, and clearly in love with the newest addition.

Once the group shots were over we did a few of just the new guy. I love this hat that is daddy knit. So sweet.

I love me some baby bits, and Simon’s little lips and bed head was really the best.

He also woke up for a bit there. I think he was trying to tell us how great his eyes would look against this blanket his mama made for him.

Sweet boy, I love all his chub here.

He’s just smooch-able right.

While Simon took a nursing break I got a few of Claire and Daddy. These make me smile. And back to baby cuteness. Oh that mouth so sweet.

Such a sweet boy, he was so good for me!

And a few with mama of course. I am pretty sure these arms are his favorite place to be.

And one last shot of the whole family. I love Claire’s little face here. So much love in this foursome. 🙂

Crissie thanks again for having me out to meet the new little guy. He was such a sweet boy, congratulations again on the addition to your sweet family. I am so looking forward to seeing them grow over the next year. 🙂 I hope you enjoy your sneak peek. I should have the whole gallery done for you very soon.  And of course I know how you love your little brag book.  Lets get another in the words with this little guy. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post, I will throw in another set of cute little books.

Sweet Talia at 6 months

I am not going to pontificate much today. My entire family has been battling the flu, and I am rushing trying to get out last moment holiday print orders. Oh and there is the small matter of our own holiday cards and gifts to attend too. Either way it is nuts in the G household these days, but I just had to share a few from my session with the always adorable and sweet little Talia. You remember her baby session in corvallis a few months back right? Well she is back and even more adorable than ever.

Here are a few quick favorites so far:

So big already!

Mama made this hat, how cool is that.

This one is hands down my favorite of the day. 🙂

Such a sweet family.

Bonnie and Matt thanks again for trekking all the way up to Newberg and being down with all of my ideas. I have the whole gallery almost finished and will be sending you that info again shortly. 🙂

no shortage of cuteness here

It was just a few short weeks ago I was photographing a beautiful belly adorned with henna, now I am back to show off the even more beautiful result!

Meet Michael, he is nothing short of adorable. A sweet little guy, that of course did not want to sleep for me, but was quit chill in front of the camera.

Clearly he is very comfortable in the arms of his beautiful mama.

Oh that sweet face, and those beautiful eyes.

After a little bit of playing and a bit more milk from mama he crashed out for us. I love that little milk mouth.

Check out his hat, great right! Terrie got it in her travels to Peru, it fit him perfectly.

His teeny tiny hands were moving the whole session, I had to capture them at rest when I could. 🙂

I also love capturing the little baby bits. Oh those lips!

We also had to break out the tie-die. Micheal’s parents are frequent visitors of the country fair, and his daddy his a big love of all things tie tied.

I love the contrast of the sleeping baby and the bright colors. 🙂

Once he was out he was SO good for me.

He even had some time in Daddy’s arms.

And of course we had to get a few of the whole family. We had more planned, but about 2 seconds after this one was taken little dude peed all over Mommy & Daddy. Just to make sure we all knew who was in charge clearly.

just before the spray, I got a few more of mother and son. I have to admit these are always my favorite. I just LOVE how this one turned out. His sweet little face just soaking up some love from his mama. Terrie you two are so beautiful together. 🙂

Terrie and Patrick thanks for having me back into your home. I just adored spending time with your little guy, he really is perfection. I hope you like your sneak peek. I will have the whole gallery up for you soon! And of course I would love to throw down a blog challenge for you all. If you can get 25 people to comment on this blog post I will throw in a couple darling little wallet brag books for you. They tend to work well when showing off a certain little guy. 🙂
