schumann et all…

Meet the Schumanns…

They are mad fun. Though they are scattered around the country most of the time, once a year the entire clan gets together and converges on a little town on the Oregon coast. I have a feeling they kind of take over the place.  This year Miss Jen had me come out and take some photos of the family madness. I had a great time running around the in the sand capturing this fun family and ridiculously  adorable kiddos.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

The entire family in one place!

We also did some smaller family groupings.

Too much cuteness in this family.

Of course Grandma & Grandpa got in on the action with their only baby left at home Miss Cali. Once the family groupings were done we got down to the fun part. Playing!

Check out miss thing here. Being the only granddaughter she is quite the princess. So cute, that smile killed me!

Mama Jen has a handful with these two boys, but man are they adorable!

Speaking of boys check out these smiles! Such a handsome group of little trouble makers!

These two cracked me up, seconds after this they starting rolling over each other. 🙂

Is there anything better than baby toes in the sand? I think not!

There was also quite a bit of sand wrestling.

Grandpa S, or as my Husband & kids call him Uncle Mike!

Check out the father and son smiles here, We even adventured onto some crazy beechwood stuck in an inlet stream towards the hotel.

Jen thanks for having me out. It was super fun to see you all1 I hope you like you sneak peek. I will have the whole gallery for you very soon. Of course as a new client lets throw down the blog challenge! If you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in a mini brag book for you guys. 🙂 Leave some love people!

perfect house, perfect light, perfect family

I know I say it all the time, but I LOVE MY JOB.

Just last week I got to spend an evening in the beautiful Dundee hills meeting a lovely new family. Sent to me from a wonderful friend, I was excited to meet the Dixons and their beautiful new home. New houses are exciting right? The decorating possibilities, picking out paint, it is fun stuff.

When I arrived I got the warmest welcome, I had a great time meeting this super cute family of 4 and capturing this special time for them. 🙂

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Check out the whole family in front of their beautiful new home.

Meet Mr. L, the first to greet me and tell me ALL about the house and family. He might be the cutest little dude I have ever met.

Meet Miss G, stickling beautiful, tall, smart & witty. Girl is going to be a heart breaker for sure!

These two kill me, so lovely together!

Mr L was such a ham in front of the camera, and I ate it up. How can you not point a lens and this cute smile right.

Miss G also has a killer smile and some baby blues that are stunning.

Have I mentioned he was a ham?!

Another of the two kiddos together, this melts me, I hope my own boy & girl love each other this much.

They are adorable right, well they should be, mom owns one of McMinnville’s cutest boutiques.

🙂

Right at sunset we hit the street near their house to catch that yummy sunset light. I love that the whole family truly enjoys each other you can tell.

🙂

And one last shot of the whole family, I think this one might be my favorite.

David & Shanna thanks again for having me out to capture your family. Your home is fantastic, I am glad we could grab this moment in time. I will have the whole gallery up very soon! For now I hope you enjoy the sneak peek and of course as new clients I will have to issue the customary blog challenge. If you can get 25 people to comment on this little post, I will throw in a mini wallet brag book of images on the house. So leave some love people. 🙂

Family Love

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting up with the ever so adorable Gracey Family. Sara contacted me while back to schedule a session to capture her daughter’s first birthday and before her wonderful husband was deployed with the National Guard. Of course I was honored to capture the family at this special moment in time. We met up at one of my favorite local parks and had fun chatting and working hard getting a certain little girl to smile. 🙂

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Such sweet and nice people! Even if little Kaylee did not love the idea of being in front of the camera.

Little Kaylee is so sweet, and clearly her mom & dad feel the same way. No shortage of love here.

peek-a-boo!

Kaylee SMILES! whoo hoo! Totally worth the work she is just so cute!

Such a serious little face.

Her beautiful brown eyes kill me 🙂

we also had a little fun at the playground.

And one last photo of beautiful little Kaylee.

Sara thanks for coming out to Newberg and for trusting me to capture your sweet family. I will have the whole gallery up very soon for you! I hope you like the peek so far, I think we pulled out some cute ones despite the “not so happy about the camera” girl. 🙂 It was a pleasure to meet you all. And of course as new clients you get a blog challenge. If you can get 25 people to comment on this little post you get a free mini wallet brag book on the house!

blond curls & silly faces make me happy

It seems like just yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting this adorable families’ newborn session. Back then Bella was teeny tiny, Abby was still learning the words for “big sister”. Well the adorable sisters are back, and both SO BIG! The whole family met me last weekend for a very warm, but fun session in downtown Newberg. We had a good time catching up, talking about small towns, Hawaii and new siblings.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Big girl Bella! Such a sweet pea.

Bella loves big sister, I do believe she is watching Mama & Abby do the hula here.

And here is our beautiful big sister. Her big brown eyes are just killer!

She was playing shy with me, but I got the smiles.

Cute girls! The squishing/love reminds me of my little ones.

They also love their wagon, can’t wait till mine are big enough for wagon rides!

And of course the whole cute family.

Clearly there is no shortage of love in this family.

Bella’s silly faces crack me up.

Abby is so darn cute!

🙂

Smiles, tickles, squishes, smooches, yep that is a family!

Thanks guys for joining me despite the hot weather, I had a great time seeing you all again. I can not believe how the girls have gown, they are just so adorable. And because you did so well last year, lets have another comment challenge shall we? If you can get 30 comments on this post I will throw in a lovely little brag book for mum & dad!

Meet baby Jonah!

Meet Mr. Jonah, he is just one of the cutest little dudes of all time. When his mommy contacted me to set up a newborn session we had to get things rolling quickly. Babies get bigger and change so quickly at this age, I did not want to miss out on the teeny tiny times with this little guy. I was lucky enough to meet this sweet boy and his parents late last week. We had a great time talking baby, snapping some photos and loving on Jonah.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

The cute little guy did not want to sleep for me. I pulled out all the stops and still no sleep, little bugger. Though I have to say he was quite mellow and sweet for me. Just look at those eyes, how could you ever say no to that face!

I love me some tiny baby bits!

Jonah did not know what to think of my silly hats, such a sweet pea.

Ok here he was just making fun of me. “you want me to sleep lady, yeah right!”

Clearly there is no shortage of love in this household. Just look at handsome daddy & beautiful mama.

Ah ha! He sleeps! A little mama’s milk and love from the parents did it. He looks so peaceful here. 🙂

The whole family is just lovely, again so much love for this lucky little guy.

Is there anything better than a sleeping smiling baby?

Even in his sleep he wiggled for me. 🙂

And one last photo of the little dapper fellow. Such a sweet baby.

Jodi & Tom thanks for having me out to capture your little one. He was a joy, even when he was being a little bugger. I had a great time meeting you all! I will have the whole set very soon. I hope you enjoyed the peek. And of course as new clients I like to throw down the comment challenge. If you can get 25 to comment on this little post you will received a sweet little wallet brag book on the house. 🙂 SO leave some love people!
