the baby in the orange chair is back!

If you are a long time blog reader you might remember a certain uber cute baby in a bright orange chair from almost 2 years ago. She actually still graces my header some times. Well miss cute orange chair is back, and she is now a big sister! It is over the top adorable how much these two love each-other! I got to hang out with the whole family again to celebrate little sister’s first birthday. Little sis is just as adorable as her elder sister, and may even have more spunk if that is possible. Oh and sparkly eyes run in the family, I swear no photoshopping!

I had a great time seeing the whole family again and capturing the love & fun they share. We even lucked into some amazingly warm May weather!

1, 2, 3, 4 tell me that you love me more…

First there was a bump, then there was a curly haired newborn, then a toddler full of personality. Another year then a he was sweet faced little dude of 2 years, and now there is not only a big boy of 3, but another bump!  This little family of 3 is about to be a family of 4! I can not tell you how freaking excited I am to meet Jaxon’s little sister in a few months! The whole family was darling as usual, I really have the best clients in the entire world. We met up at one of my favorite local state parks and ran around as usual. Jaxon is sweet, kind and as adorable as ever. I could eat him up, his little sister has allot of cuteness to live up to!

 

So I will stop rambling. Here are a few of my favorites from our session:

Lovely Lucia

Does it get better than a cute baby girl? I am not sure it does. Little Lucia was sweet, funny, and full of life. When her mama said she loved the rustic look I took the chance to take them to one of my favorite local parks. We had a great time running around after a certain baby girl, talking about puppy love and enjoying the sun. After running around the park we headed to their darling home and took some more photos. Lucia was adorable showing me her room and introducing her beloved puppy.

Sweet Lucas

Sonja contacted me a while back to set up photos with her sweet little boy and family. When she said she found me through a dear friend (and fellow rad wedding photographer) and her super rad former neighbor (Portland’s Reining Radio Diva) I knew we would have fun with this session. We met at the family’s beautiful NE Portland home and played for a while, after a bit we ventured out to a local park. We scored some seriously beautiful weather! We had a great time bouncing around, following the little guy in charge and makeing some photos.

Ruby is One!

My how time flies, just yesterday I was taking photos of a sweet little newborn, and then a sparkly eyed 6 month old, I can not believe my favorite little Ruby Girl is One! To celebrate we ran around one of her families favorite haunts McMinnamin’s Kennedy School in NE Portland. I love all the art in that building, a different backdrop everywhere you turn! Ruby was on the GO too. Already walking she was all over the place, and making me work for her sweet smiles. I had a great time playing with her, I am a lucky girl to have such a great job for sure.

Here are few of my favorites:

Like I said Miss Ruby was all over the place. No sitting with Mom & Dad for me, she was up and interested in my camera.

Gah she is so cute! I love those sparky blue eyes.

did I mention she was on the go? We ran outside for a while and she was all over that.

This one cracks me up, I am not sure if she was yelling or trying to eat my camera, but she was enthusiastic.

I dare you not to smile back at this cutie.

We lucked into some cold my decent weather. I loved catching Mary & Chris fiddling with her hat here. Ruby is just soaking in the attention.
