6 months of cuteness training paid off…

It was almost 3 years ago I started working with the D family. Back then they were a cute new family of 3, just getting used to the little lady that had quickly become the center of their universe.  Then I got to capture the family moving to my very own little town with their beautiful new home. And just recently it was my pleasure to capture the newest addition of the lovely miss Ellery! For real, I love these guys. Well the family is back, to celebrate the 6 month mark for little Elle.  She was a beautiful newborn, and she has gotten even cuter! I had the two little ladies up to the studio last week and I have to say I am excited to share these! Smiles and giggles all around.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

These girls are CUTE right!

Little miss E has some seriously sparkling eyes.

Miss Addy turned 3 just a few days after our session. So big already! And look at her smile, heart melting.

Ellery has some delicious toes to go with that sweet smile.

🙂

Gah I dare you not to smile back.

Such a sweet little girl. She was so good for me.

Shhhh don’t tell mom but I might have encouraged someone to jump on the bed.

We also brought out a certain favorite doll.

And one last shot of little miss E with that killer smile.

Amy thanks for your flexibility and for trekking into Portland for our session. I had a great time playing with you all once again. You make some seriously cute babies! I will have the whole gallery very soon. But.. you know what time it is right? Comment challenge time, this time for a cute little brag book. Lets say 30 comments this time shall we, and see if we can break your time record? Ready, set go! Leave some love people.

love for baby brother

You might remember the Curtis family from this past August. We had a great time running around Edgefield together and celebrating a certain little lady’s first birthday. Well they are back with their brand new addition, and oh my is he a cutie!I always love seeing how babies and families grow with time, and sessions like these are my favorites. Really I have the best job ever. Even was perfect for me, and the whole family was up for anything. Even if big sister had some jealous moments (as an older sister I totally understand!) she was sweet as pie for me.

Here are my favorites from the session so far:

How cute is this little family of 4 now!

Little miss has lots of love for her baby brother.

Emry has gotten even more adorable in the past months since our first session can you tell. 🙂

sweetness!

And little lady is still happy to be in the spot light. Again as a big sister my self I totally get that!

After frolicking with the whole family for a while we got down to little Evan’s time in the spotlight.

Ahh he was SO good for me. Such an angel.

Those cheeks are just delish!

He was a great little sleeper too.

he even put up with my crazy ideas raiding mom’s scarves for this set.

I love the new chubby cheeks and little baby rolls.

Once he woke up with had some special time with mama.

clearly he is comfy in her arms, as it should be!

We also got some with daddy, I love the juxtaposition of daddy’s strong arms and the sweet little baby.

We event looped back in big sister for a second!

and one last shot of the little guy. Such a sweet face!

Kristi thanks again for having me out to capture your newest addition. He is just perfection! I had a great time seeing you all again. I hope you love your sneak peek. I will have the whole set up for you very soon. Lets try a blog comment contest again shall we? If you can get 30 people to comment on this little post i will throw in a set of the darling little brag books I showed you. Perfect for showing off a cute little family! So leave some love people.

As promised…

As I said Friday I had the pleasure of working with a wonderful family not too long ago. Shannon emailed me from her home in New York. She was flying home soon to visit family for the holidays and wanted to capture some family photos while everyone was in town. Scheduling this many people was not easy task, but I am so glad we got it all to work. This group was great to work with, and hilarious to boot. This is part one in a 2 part peek. I want to show off the first of our sessions with Shannon’s Dad and family.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Like I said the whole family was fun. Lots of laughs during our session, mostly due to the families youngest member. 🙂

We started with the big group, and also did some smaller groupings. So much love here.

I always love the couples shots can you tell.

Oh and have I mentioned NATE the boy that stole the show. He was so stinken cute.

🙂

Ahhh love for mama.

These folks were brave! I love it. After shooting in the studio for a while we ventured out to the nearby riverfront to capture the amazing afternoon light. I have to say I love these!

The light was amazing! Thanks again guys for braving the cold for these!

And one last shot of my new BFF Nate. He was awesome.

Shannon & Family Thanks for braving the cold, traffic and post holiday maddness to come to Portland and meet up with me. I had a great time getting to know all of you. I hope you all had a great holiday and safe travels to your homes near & far.  Of course as new clients I  would love to throw down a blog challenge. How about 3o comments gets a set of wallet brag books eh? So leave some love friends.

and then there were 4

Quick look up, you see the rotating banner on this very blog? If you wait long enough there is a ridiculously cute little girl in a pink sweater against a green wall. See it? That was last October, and allot has changed since then. That very girl is now a BIG SISTER! Exciting stuff. It was my honor to capture the new little brother and family of four. Simon is just as cute as his big sister. He was such a boy for me too! I had a great time with the whole family.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Meet Simon, he is already such a dapper little lad. 🙂

And yes Claire did get cuter, as if it were possible. 🙂

These two were so sweet together. Miss Claire is already such a loving big sister.

The whole family was just adorable, and clearly in love with the newest addition.

Once the group shots were over we did a few of just the new guy. I love this hat that is daddy knit. So sweet.

I love me some baby bits, and Simon’s little lips and bed head was really the best.

He also woke up for a bit there. I think he was trying to tell us how great his eyes would look against this blanket his mama made for him.

Sweet boy, I love all his chub here.

He’s just smooch-able right.

While Simon took a nursing break I got a few of Claire and Daddy. These make me smile. And back to baby cuteness. Oh that mouth so sweet.

Such a sweet boy, he was so good for me!

And a few with mama of course. I am pretty sure these arms are his favorite place to be.

And one last shot of the whole family. I love Claire’s little face here. So much love in this foursome. 🙂

Crissie thanks again for having me out to meet the new little guy. He was such a sweet boy, congratulations again on the addition to your sweet family. I am so looking forward to seeing them grow over the next year. 🙂 I hope you enjoy your sneak peek. I should have the whole gallery done for you very soon.  And of course I know how you love your little brag book.  Lets get another in the words with this little guy. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post, I will throw in another set of cute little books.
