Family Love in Salem

Catherine first contacted me about capturing her two little ones while she was planning a trip to Oregon this summer. She was coming down from Alaska and would be visiting Salem. We chatted back and fourth on options and eventually expanded the session to not just capture her little ones but the entire family extended family! I am not usually one for huge family groups but thees folks were fun. Traveling in from Alaska, Chicago and eastern Oregon you could tell everyone was happy to be in the same place. The little cousins played in the beautiful garden while grandma served some of the best lemonade I have ever sipped. It was a great afternoon.

quite possibly the happiest baby on the block

Sent to me by the”baby in the orange chair” family the R family was a JOY to work with. They provided me a beautiful home to shoot in, a sweet family to hang out with, and a super cute smiling baby to point my camera at. It really could not get much better. We had a great time talking about baby bums, “solid” foods and puppy love.

Sweet Simon is 6 months!

It seems like just yesterday I was pointing my camera at a sweet little newborn, and now it is a rolling, smiling, silly baby boy! Just like his big sister, this little guy is quite a character! We had a great time running around his uncle’s beautiful property in the hills, smelling the flowers, and talking baby boy hats. I am such a sucker for babies in hats, don’t get me started! It was my pleasure to capture this little guy at 6 months, so much personality! I also had to grab a few of big sister and the whole family of course.

Sweet Sami Girl

It really is baby boom time here at emily g photography! Meet Miss Sami, she was 4 weeks old when we had our session, a tad older than I usually shoot, but man was she good for me! Sami is just adorable, her lips, her little toes, her perfect little face, oh man this girl is going to be stunning! Not a shocker when you see her beautiful mama & handsome papa. The whole family was great to work with!

the creative & cool crawfords

The session has been in the works for a while now! My time was a gift from this families dear friend and real estate agent to celebrate their beautiful new home. I knew going this family would be fun. I had met Kira the mom before briefly and knew I liked her, but I was not ready at all for how lovely, sweet and beautiful her girls would be! The whole family was great to work with, even puppy got into the action. Their new home was beautiful and had some killer flowers in bloom to boot! All around we had a great time giggling and snapping away. I just could not wait to show these off!
