Lovely Lucia

Does it get better than a cute baby girl? I am not sure it does. Little Lucia was sweet, funny, and full of life. When her mama said she loved the rustic look I took the chance to take them to one of my favorite local parks. We had a great time running around after a certain baby girl, talking about puppy love and enjoying the sun. After running around the park we headed to their darling home and took some more photos. Lucia was adorable showing me her room and introducing her beloved puppy.

Sweet Lucas

Sonja contacted me a while back to set up photos with her sweet little boy and family. When she said she found me through a dear friend (and fellow rad wedding photographer) and her super rad former neighbor (Portland’s Reining Radio Diva) I knew we would have fun with this session. We met at the family’s beautiful NE Portland home and played for a while, after a bit we ventured out to a local park. We scored some seriously beautiful weather! We had a great time bouncing around, following the little guy in charge and makeing some photos.

mini peek for a mini cutie

You might recognize this little cutie from his newborn photos not too long ago. Well little Mr Michael has grown in size and personality for sure. SUCH a cute little guy. Mama really wants to capture his growth so we got together a little while ago to catch him at his 3 month mark. I had a ball playing with this little dude, capturing his smile and loving on him. I can not wait for our 6 month session!

baby Shawn the heart thief

I am not going to lie, I am a sucker for baby boys this year. Maybe it is my own little guy being in my life, maybe it is the slew of precious baby boys I have had the pleasure of pointing my camera at this year. It could be a lot of things, but this boy topped it all off. Meet little Shawn:

Don’t you want to just smooch him?! Shawn belongs to the lovely Erin featured on this very blog just a few short weeks ago. He is one lucky and loved baby. And so cute! He was so very good for me. I have lots of favorites to show you, so here goes…

Erin was very close to her grandmother who passed recently, to honor her we used this absolutely beautiful quilt for the session. I am so in love with this quilt I am SO very glad she suggested it.

Sweet baby boy was clearly comfortable on the quilt too.

We even got our proud papa down on the quilt action. These two boys are so sweet together.

Oh that smile! really Shawn was so good for me.

He was so sweet and sleepy.

Smoochable

Someone is very loved by his mama as well clearly.

This one might be my favorite.  He was so cute smiling up at mama.

The whole family is just adorable.

Ok maybe this one is my favorite, either way this family is cute.

Erin thanks again for having me out to meet your little guy. He is perfection! I had a great time seeing you all again. I hope you are all settling in and getting a bit more sleep! I will have the whole gallery for you very soon. I can not help but work on this cute little guy! To use up some time how about we throw down a blog challenge?
