Growing up a country girl you get to know the kids on your bus rout. It might just be the only way you get to know kids in your area. And yes I say area, not neighborhood. When the houses are all 5 acres plus away from each other it is an area. 🙂 One of the girls my age was a sweet girl named Mindy, she lived not too far away and always had a warm smile. I remember liking Mindy and her sister allot on those long bus rides home. Well thanks to the wonders of the internet and more specifically Facebook I got to reconnect with sweet Mindy. Mindy has a wonderful husband, (who is an amazing kitchen designer) and two over the top adorable little ones. Mindy is also UBER crafty. No joke, you can see her cute crafty blog here, her etsy shop here, her candle shop here, and to top it off her twilight inspired etsy shop here. Seriously click the links she is amazing, we have quite a few Boboloo items in house, burp rags, candles, the most amazing MAX suite you have ever seen. We just spent an afternoon with her homemade play-dough, the stuff rocks.:)
Anyway… Mindy and her adorable family came over for a BBQ this past weekend and we took the opportunity to do some family & kids photos. We shot in a few spots around our home, here are a few of my favorites so far:
Griffin & Reiley are so cute. I just wanted to eat them up.
Such loving brother & sister too. 🙂
Griffin was adorable, and so sweet. He and my redhead had a blast playing. I loved watching them together thinking one day my Griffin will be this big. I love this set, such a “boy” he just had to go out and find a stick first thing. I am pretty sure this one was a magic want, cant you tell.
sweet baby Riley, she has some sparkly eyes like her mama.

and the whole family! They were such sports sitting in this soggy field. Mindy & Charles you are both adorable too!
I love this one the most I think, everyone just piled up and sweet.
Griffin has some sparkly eyes of his own too!
and Reilly’s sweet smile, gah how could you ever say no to that face!
and a typical almost 2 year old, one second she is happy, the next she was D.O.N.E. only a mom could love that last photo, the sweet little pig tales peeking out over the sad face.
Mindy & Charles thank you both for your generosity over the past year. I am so excited we finally got our families together! I hope it was just the first of many times. Your kiddos are simply adorable, I hope you like some of the photos we captured that warm evening. I will have the whole batch ready for you soon as well! Oh and of course I want to rock the blog comment challenge as well. If you can get 25 people to comment on this post you will revive a mini brag book on me. 🙂 So leave some love people. 🙂

You might remember a super cute little girl in a certain bunny hat just over a year and a half ago… I know I do.
Well when her sweet grandma called to say she was in town and wanted to schedule a photo session for the three generations of Brooks Ladies I jumped at the chance. Miss Madeline has grown leaps and bounds since I have seen her last, and gotten even more adorable. Really it is no shocker with a stunning mama and beautiful grandma. I had a wonderful time running around the park on a beautiful spring afternoon with these ladies.
Here are just a few of my favorites so far:

Such beautiful ladies all three of them!
Miss Maddy loves her Nana.
And she also loves her “bubbles” aka dandelions. We had a great time making wishes can you tell!

We found a super cool old barn for some photos too.

And one last one of the little princess!
Dear Brooks Ladies, thank you so much for giving me a call and working me into your vacation! I had a lovely time reconnecting with all of you. 🙂 I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek, I will have the whole gallery ready for you ASAP. And while I am at it, why not start back with a blog challenge! If you can get 25 people to comment on this little blog post I will throw in a lovely little wallet brag book set for Mom & Grandma on the house. So leave some love folks! I know you have something to say about these lovely ladies. Oh and any visitors to my blog thinking of booking your own session, please see the post below for my “Griffin Special“. 🙂
