Lan + Joel = Love

When Lan & Joel said they wanted to do something less “traditional” and more “Portland Style Fun” I knew they were my kind of people. After chatting for a bit we decided on a beer crawl that would show off the city they love, the beer they love, and well their love. These two are currently living in California but are going with their beloved Portland for their wedding so it was only fitting we show off the city during our shoot.

We lucked into some beautiful weather, and had such a great time. I can not wait for these two to come back up north for their wedding in just a few months!

Here are a few of my favorites:

Lan & Joel thanks again for being so fun, and being up for anything. I had a great time with you guys! I hope you have enjoyed the sneak peek. I will have the whole set done for you shortly. For now I would love to offer you a little blog post challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in an 11×14 wall print on the house.

So leave some love people!

Mazel Tov Georgia!

Over the past few years I have been lucky enough to capture countless weddings, quite a few events, and a handful of birthday & other celebrations. I was thrilled a few months ago when I was asked to capture a bat mitzvah! I have been a guest at a few but never had the pleasure of photographing one. Lucky for me Miss Gerogia was wonderful to capture, and the whole family was a dream to work with. The entire night was full of so much love and laughter, I had a great time!

Here are a few, ok many of my favorites from the big event.

Georgia and family thanks again for having me out to capture your big night. It really was my pleasure, you were all so fun! I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek, I will have the whole set done very shortly!

oh I remember warm days and sunshine…

Days like this, with the sun peeking out over a touch of frost on the grown make my heart happy. Days like this remind me that spring is coming soon, and the warm days of summer are just around the corner. 🙂

Another thing that makes me heart happy is hearing from wedding community friends. Just last summer I worked with the wonderful Travis Sheilds & crew on a beautiful Mt. Hood Wedding. Do you remember Katie & Jim and their Mt. Hood B&B wedding?. They held one killer night! Travis emailed to share a clip of their wedding film and I knew I had to share it. It was SO. FUN.

Here are a few of my favorite images from the day too..

Looking forward to more spring growth and summer days on the horizon!

Wonderful Willa

Just last week I had the pleasure of capturing one of the areas most adorable little girls, meet Willa. She was sweet, chubby, sleepy and oh so good for me. Not to mention that her absolutely beautiful mama is a super talented photographer (no stress for me geeze). The same super talented photographer that captured my own little ones just a few months back.  But really it was a joy to capture the whole family. Their home was lovely, and miss Willa was perfect for me. Ok Daddy may disagree as he got soiled on at one point, but we all had a good laugh. I am so happy to share these images, and yes there are many. This post is going to be a LONG one. Hope you are comfy 🙂

On to the images!

Christy and Kirk thanks for being up for all my crazy ideas! It was a pleasure capturing your family, and little lady. I hope you are all settling in well, and loving these early days. I really treasure the images you created of my little ones, and hope you have enjoyed these as much. I have SO MANY more to show you all.

love in wine country

How lucky am I, really. My job is to capture beautiful babies and people in love. On top of that my job takes me to incredibly beautiful places on pretty days. Yep, my job is the best.

On this particular day it was my job to capture Nicole and David. These two will be getting married soon, and wanted their engagement session to be a little more intimate, and show off on of their favorite places, the Solena Winery & Estate in Oregon’s wine country. Being that wine country is literally my back yard, I was excited to capture the day. For our session we lucked into so.e amazing weather, and even some sunshine!

Nicole & David were lovely to capture, and up for anything! I had a great time with these two, and can not wait for the wedding.

Here are a few of my favorites so far…

Nicole & David thanks again for having me out to the winery, it was great to spend more time with you two and capture your love for eachother. I can not wait for your big day, it should be a beautiful one! I hope you have enjoyed the sneak peek. I should be done with the whole set shortly. For now I would love to offer you two a little blog comment challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this little post, I will throw in an 11×14 on the house.

So leave some love people! You know you want to …
