Jodi & Gary are Married!

After working with Jodi & Gary on their engagement photos I knew their wedding would be a sweet and love filled day. It was warm on the temperature side, but even warmer on the heart.

On the big day three things were clearly reflected, their love for their faith, their family and each-other. The day was perfect, and so filled with love and emotion. It was a pleasure to witness and capture for the special couple.

On to a few of my favorites!

Molly & Geoff may be the coolest people I know…

Molly & Geoff really may just be the coolest people I know. They really took the “make your wedding personal” idea to the next level, and I love them for it. Molly & Geoff (you might remember their super cool engagement session here) brought their love of vintage motor scooters, ska music, bagpipers,  and old school video games in full force. Their wedding was visually a perfect representation of all the things they love. It was also filled with the creative, sweet and funny people they love, which made it even more special. 🙂  It really was my pleasure to capture and document such personal and joy filled day.

On to the photos!

Kayla & Johnny are married!

Are you sitting down?

Is it a comfortable chair?

If not make it so, this post is going to be a LONG one folks!

Last month it was my pleasure to capture one of the sweetest weddings ever. Kayla & Johnny are sweet, kind and so full of joy I think they might burst. You might remember them from their soccer themed engagement session last year, well this time they went ALL OUT. The big day was held at The Reserve Vineyard and Golf club as well as St. Juan Diego Catholic Church in Hillsboro. The day was filled with tons of energy, laughter, music and love. Also more sugar than I thought possible, you see Johnny’s last name is Dessert and the bride as a major sweet tooth… do you see a theme here? Yeah, it was amazing. For me the high point of the day was dancing on the trolly with the wedding party going from the church to the Reserve, I laughed so hard my abs still hurt. Another fun part was the appearance of “Puddles” the U of O mascot during the bride’s brothers toast. It was epic to say the least. Such an amazing and memorable day.

Like I said… its a long one…

On to the photos!

Kayla & Johnny thanks again for having us out to capture your day. It really was our pleasure! I had a wonderful time. I wish you two nothing but the best in your lives together, and so much sweetness! I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon too. 🙂 I hope you enjoyed the peek. The full gallery should be up for you all very soon. Friends and family, please feel free to leave a comment below if you would like access to the whole gallery when it is ready.

the holt family 2013

I love it when a plan comes together. Eileen first contacted me to arrange family photos for the summer while all of her kids and her brand new grandson were in town at the same time.  When kids grow up and move away it is of course a small miracle when everyone is in the same place at the same time, something to be captured! As the mom of a brand new pre-schooler I can simply not imagine, so I was more than happy to capture the family while everyone was in Salem for the day.

The whole family was lovely to spend time with. I have to admit the little guy totally stole my heart, so you will see many images of him.

Here are a few of my favorites from the day:

Eileen thanks again for meeting up with me and having me down to capture your lovely family. I had a great time meeting you all. I hope you have enjoyed the sneak peek, I will have the whole gallery done very soon.
