Katie & Chad are awesome. It’s just that simple Their wedding was the perfect balance of all things beautiful, personal, fun and silly. I’ve know Katie for years, so it was an added bonus to know so many guests too. After our super fun engagement session a few months ago I had really been looking forward to this particular wedding.

Katie and Chad did an amazing job personalizing their day. As guests arrived they were welcomed with signs detailing Katie & Chad’s love story. During cocktail hour photos were hung with images of the couple’s family and childhood photos. They also had a wonderful ceremony that also talked alot about how they met, how they fell in love, and how important the guests were to the couple. It really was a day all about Katie, Chad and their love, it was just perfect. Oh and of course our couple looked amazing, had killer food and stunning decor. Have I mentioned it was a great wedding?

Katie & Josh’s beautiful and joy filled wedding was a pleasure to capture. I knew when they said they found me via a good friend of mine Joel (formally killer photographer, currently killer creative director) and thier wonderful floral designer Heather of Summer Sweet Design it would be a great wedding. What I did not expect was Katie & Josh’s huge hearts and amazing laughter. Katie’s laughing face makes me smile while photographing and editing, the girl can clearly express herself. 🙂 It was also a huge bonus they hired two of Portland’s best food trucks to cater the event, OMG yumm!
