Molly & Ryan: the wedding

It was just a few months ago I spend the evening with Molly, Ryan and their family taking family photos. That night we spoke allot about their upcoming summer celebration and what the day would look like. I knew with how stylish Molly was it would be a stunning event, but even my expectations were beyond reached. The entire day was beautiful, personal, and filled with love. It was a rather laid back affair, no crazy dance-floor or wild speeches, but it was perfectly perfect. The decor, food, and clothing was all stylish and fun, the cake was amazing, even if it did end up going down in a family cake fight. The music was light and warm just like the weather.

All in all it was a perfect day, and my pleasure to capture it.

Bella Vie’s “call the midwife” shoot!

As much as I LOVE my wedding and baby work, every once in a while I am asked to do something different. This time it was a commercial shoot for a lovely group of mid-wives from Bella Vie Gentle Birth Center. They had a wonderful idea to do a shoot around a theme. They are big fans of the PBS show “Call the Midwife“. The show is based on a group of midwives active in London’s east end in the 1940’s and 1950s. The theme of the show was fun, full of color and character, perfect to transfer into a shoot for these groups of ladies. We had a great afternoon taking photos and laughing about bright red lipstick.

The Fox Family 2014

Oh the warm days of summer. I am trying to enjoy every bit of them right now since we all know Autumn is just around the corner, and sweater weather will be on it’s heels. Don’t get me wrong I do love the fall, but ahhh a nice sunny summer afternoon is just lovely.

I spend one lovely summer afternoon recently with the Fox family. I met Amelia a few years ago at a wedding and was very pleased when she contacted me for some family photos while the whole extended group was in town. I had so much fun with all these guys. It may have gotten a bit warm on the trail, but we had a grand time chasing bugs and taking some photos.

Katie & Amanda are Married!

Amanda and Katie have been so fun to work with this year.

From our first meeting, to their snugly winter engagement session, to all the last moment wedding plans. They brought so much fun and joy into every element, so it was no surprise their wedding day was all fun and joy. The day was beautiful, the music was lively, and the energy was fully of happiness for the beautiful couple. It would be hard to imagine a more perfect day!

Rex is 6 months!

Six months ago we welcomed into the world the most adorable little blue eyed boy. With mischievous twinkle in his big blue eyes, he totally stole a piece of my heart. Well baby Rex is back on the blog now as a moving and grooving 6 month old. He is SO CUTE. Still rocking the stunning blue eyes and impish smile. This boy and his family was a pleasure to capture again. I love watching the babies grow, and this little guy proves that rule for sure.
