May I introduce Mr. Charming

When this little guy’s mama called me last month to set up a session I have to admit we do not go over a whole lots of details. I knew Mr. Charming would be 4 months old, and that they lived in the St. Johns area. She neglected to tell me he was the most charming adorable little bundle of joy in the Portland Metro area! This little guy stole my heart, and was so good for me! 4 months is a tricky age, sometimes they love new people and sometimes they cry if you look at them the wrong way. This little dude was the perfect little model, it is going to be really hard to get the gallery down to a manageable size. I had the hardest time just choosing what photos to blog!

D&M I had a fantastic time with the three of you! I will have the whole gallery for you very soon.  I am so glad you found me and it all worked out so well. Mr. Charming is an absolute dream baby, I can not wait to see him grow over the next year.  Lots of fun stuff planned for you guys! Oh how I love to watch them grow

Anyone out there remember this super cute little baby, or this adorable little man? Well baby or rather Toddler “J” is a big boy now! Can you believe he just turned one?! This last weekend I went down to Corvallis and hung out with the whole family at the coolest park. Julie did such a great job choosing the spot. We had so much fun running around.I can not believe this little guy is already 1 years old!

Well anyway here are a few of my favorites so far:

He was all about exploring, and man did he ever love the caution tape. The one on the right might be my favorite too, I just can not decide. He is all boy, all amazing boy. 🙂

Julie thanks again for letting me capture your little one as he grows. He is absolutely amazing, I am so looking forward to seeing him again as he gets bigger. I will have the whole gallery for you soon, much more to show!

Whitney & Michael’s amazingly beautiful downtown wedding. {1 of 2}

You might remember Whitney & Michael from their fun and romantic engagement session earlier in the month. I also posted a quick teaser a few weeks ago but now I am back with a full on post full of fun images from their big day. The event was over the top beautiful. Held and the fantastic Benson Hotel it was all about downtown elegance.  Every little detail was well though out and beautiful. I had a wonderful time and was so happy to come out with some great images. You can tell it was a great wedding when you can not wait to edit and start working on the album!

Here are a few of my favorites from the first part of our day.

Michael was also a fabulous groom to work with.  Super laid back. I got reports from my lovely Second Shooter for this wedding (the lovely and talented Jen) that the boys were great and a bit of a crack up.

She had a rough job hanging out with smart and handsome doctors all afternoon. 😉

The girls were also fantastic.  Every one beautiful and witty.  Most of the girls met in dental school and own their own successful practices so you know they are on top of it all.  🙂

After everyone was primped & pressed we set up a first look outside the beautiful hotel.

I can not tell you how lucky we were to get such great weather in the beginning of April.  Michael & Whitney were absolutely visions, and a joy to photograph.

Spring is the season of fresh and new…

So to celebrate I put out a little call a few weeks ago on my facebook & Twitter page.

I asked my lovely peeps to find me a brand new baby to do an extra creative session with. You see the way my newborn sessions go it is either feast or famine. Seems like I have 5 ready and waiting for me, or just NOTHING for months and months. Well the daffodils were starting to bloom, the sun had come out, I had a few fun new blankets & props to try and and no babies. So when I put out the call one of my all time favorite clients came to my rescue. They hooked me up  with another awesome cute family about have a little one. PERFECT!

Meet sweet little “Miss. R”. How delicious is she! Perfection at 9 days old!

and this little hat, so perfect on her. I have to be honest half the reason I put out the call was so I could find a little one to put in this exact hat. 🙂

So I should insert a warning here. You are about to meet the little man that out right stole the show! When I put out the call all I wanted was a sweet little newborn, little did I know that along with the little angel above I would get the cutest big brother ever.

Katie & family thank you again for letting me invade your home just days after your little one arrived. I had a wonderful time meeting all of you and getting to play with the kiddos. Thanks again for your patience with my crazy ideas, I think we pulled off some great ones! I will have the whole set for you very soon!
