Allie & CJ: the wedding

Allie & CJ are two of the most fun people to spend a Saturday with.

They are cool, laid back, funny, not too serious but seriously photogenic. They held their chill woodsy wedding at  Mount Pisgah Arboretum just outside of Eugene. I had not been there before, but now I am totally in LOVE, this place is amazing! These guys were so fun to capture, the whole crowd was fun, especially on the dance floor!

what a great 6 years it has been

One thing about my job I love is watching families grown. One of the families I get to watch grow is the E family. We started out with one adorable little blond baby over 6 years ago, and now we are up two cute and smart kiddos. I remember when Simon was born, what a sweet baby boy. Last year we  even rocked the Halloween costumes. Man these guys have grown into darling kids. I love our yearly play-dates.

Olivia & Andrew: the wedding

Moments are most important. That is what I tell every client I meet with. The way I look at weddings are one moment at a time. Yes it is a big long day, but if I can capture that day in a series of magical & fun moments I am a happy photographer.

Olivia and Andrew planned a day filled to the brim with amazing moments. A witty make up lady, giddy aunties in a door way, friends and brothers having a pre- ceremony beer, friends and sisters ooohing and awwing over a dress, a first look filled with giggles, so many head rubs, a crying flower girl, a goofy ring bearer, a sexy poem during the ceremony, Olivia’s loud & adorable laughter, the first strains of a rad mariachi band, kids dancing, a cute little cake thief, wine bottles on the dance-floor, a smooch at sunset… and so on, and so on. It was a day that glowed with warmth, love, and humor, and I loved every moment of it.

that one time a little boy took over the cake cutting…

I am working on a big huge real post about Olivia & Andrew’s super fun wedding, but I JUST HAD to share these images. Apparently Olivia & Andy were not cutting the cake fast enough for this little guy and he felt the need to take it into his own hands… he totally stole the show. 😉

The last one is his mom’s face after I showed her the images from above… she was outside the tent and had no idea he was taking over. I think we all fell in love with this little dude a bit. 😉

Fun at the Fair!

Ages ago I did an engagement session at the Oregon State Fair… It was fun, and immediately became one of my all time favorite sessions. I still use that sample album time times. 😉

SO when this year the lovely Julie and Kris said they wanted to go back, but with their little girl along, I knew it was going to be great. We had so much fun! Bright colors, rides,  and of course fair food. It was such a great time!
