Cute and Chubby, just how I like them {Portland Oregon Baby Photographer}

Lets take a walk down memory lane. Do any of you remember this beautiful belly? And then this little tiny brand new still in the hospital peanut? And then this amazing newborn?

Yeah me too, some of my all time favorite images there. And now this amazing family is back for more, and just as beautiful as ever. Just see for your self how little Mr. Big has, well, gotten BIG.

And for something completely different, we did some photos of the whole family down the road at the most amazing setting. I have had my eye on this side road for a while now, so when Mr. Chubby’s mama suggested it I jumped at the chance.

Stunning location, beautiful family, does it get any better? It also helps these are 3 of my most favorite people too.

Sweet baby L is back and cuter than ever {Salem Baby Photographer}

I got to spend some time with one of my all time favorite families this weekend. You might remember sweet baby L and her beautiful parents from this post a few months ago. Well the little Diva is back on my blog and even more beautiful! We battled the crazy Oregon weather and had another session this weekend. We started out at the Salem Carousel for a little something different and man was it a fun setting! I got to capture little L’s first pony ride. She was a perfect and full of smiles the whole morning.

Here are a few of my favs so far:

We thought this particular horse was appropriate since Mom & Dad met serving our country in Iraq.

Such an animated little diva, she was talking to me all morning!

Such a beautiful family. Makes my job almost too easy.

I also adore her little hawk here, adds so much to her personality.

I just wanted to eat her up.

Super cute family of four {Portland Oregon Family Photography sneak peek}

You might remember this little family from this time last year and then a maternity session earlier this year. Well Little miss M has grown and she is now even a big sister! I had the pleasure of spending Saturday morning with all four of them and we had a fun time running around the neighborhood taking some photos.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Meet the beautiful Miss S. Her eye are so stunning.

Miss M is still such a silly girl, she was cracking me up all morning. 🙂

Miss M also got to show me her awesome fire truck. Daddy is a firefighter so of course she has the best rig in the neighborhood.

Miss S also has some great silly faces of her own. Her little tongue kills me.

Such a Daddy’s girl this one. Her smile melts me.

You might notice I am not showing any of the full family we are keep a few up our sleeves for holiday cards and gifts :). They are all so cute and many more of this fun family to come.

Wilsonville Oregon Family Portraits {fun family sneak peek}

Last weekend I had the pleasure of hanging out with some family members and taking some holiday photos for them. M & D own a commercial nursery and I have been itching to shoot there, talk about great light to shoot in. They also have two of the cutest soon to be 5 year olds I know. If you have seen my daughter make a silly face odds are one of these two taught her how. These guys were such hams for the camera!

We also did some shooting up at their house. I had a great time putting people I know so well in front of my lens. It’s funny it is just a piece of metal and glass, but it changes the way you look at people.

So here are a few of my favorites so far:

Hmm does he remind you of a particular peanuts character? He loves his blankie, so cute.

Mr T here was all smiles for me. And so photogenic with those sparkly eyes.

Such a ham! He had me cracking up the whole time.

Silly boys 🙂

They don’t grow like weeds in this family, they grow like perennials. 😉

These two also love their great uncle, one of the men responsible for this great green house.

M & D I had a great time with you all! I hope you like some of what we got.

a nurse and a fire fighter get married…

Sounds like the beginning of a bad joke right? No joke here, just the results of a wicked fun wedding. I had the pleasure of working with the super talented and over the top fun Kacy Jo for this one. I know I have said it before, but working with other photographers is always fun for me. There are a million ways to shoot a wedding, and it is always fun to see other photographers in their “zone”. Kacy is a riot, and this particular couple Marie & Jeff had us on our toes and laughing all day.

Ok I will stop talking, look here are a few (too many!) of my favorites from the day.

It was crazy hot that day, but they made it work. I love Marie’s expressions here, she cracked me up.

Check out that dip! Jeff & Marie did this great choreographed first dance, it was so cool!

And of course the “father daughter dance” had me tearing up, I am such a sap for that stuff. These two are super close so I know it was an important moment for them, and Dad can dance!

Jeff & Marie also did this great dance to honor all the couples who had been married for many years. The couple who had been married the longest went home with a lovely gift, it was very sweet.

And anyone who has ever read this blog before knows I am a sucker for cute kids dancing at receptions. This one had no shortage of cute little ones. And these boys and girls had some mad dance skills. I was impressed!

And the “small girl with the big camera” herself ms Kacy Jo. Thanks for asking me to come help out! I had a great time even in the crazy hot weather.
