Newcomer Cuteness 2010

A few things always let me know it is officially the pre-holiday season. Stores start hanging ornaments, my mother in law starts playing festive music, and I have 2 cute blond girls on my calender. It has been my pleasure to capture the N family for the last 4 years, it has been fun two see these little ladies grow for sure. For this year’s session we headed out to downtown Washougal, WA to a new building with some fun bright colors and lines.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Look at those smiles!

These girls crack me up, they were dancing and singing the whole time.

We also got some good separates with pretty mama & handsome daddy.

Gah this one has to be my favorite for sure. Such cuteness!

Mara is such a big girl these days, and such a sweet  big sister.

Syd is also super sweet, and silly.

We had to do a few of just Mom & Dad.

Oh those eyes are just amazing.

and killer lashes, these girls have it made.

Tia thanks again for having me out to capture your little ladies and super cute family. I had a great time seeing you all again. I will have the whole gallery done soon!

Jill’s Awesome Family

Back a million years ago before kids and a certain adorably mustached husband I was rabble rousing Portland State University Student. I had a great time at college, and one of the reasons was the amazing friends I had. One of those friends was an adorable petite blonde girl named Jill. I met Jill while leading a tour of the university, and quickly talked her into a few activities and clubs on campus. She was always full of energy and good spirit. I had a great time reconnecting with Jill via facebook this year, and was honored when she hired me to capture her adorable family.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

We met up on a beautiful Friday evening last week at Gabriel Park in SW Portland.

Her whole family is completely adorable right.

Jill’s newest addition Kylee is such a cutie!

Jill also has some seriously hansom boys right.

the ladies!

I love me some beautiful autumn leaves and cute families.

Ah baby cheeks!

Nathanael aka super awesome big brother is also a doll.

Kylee was having a moment, so we went with it lol.

She quickly came back when daddy offered a flying lesson.

Did I mentioned Big brother was adorable too, and so sweet with his sister.

this one might be my favorite.

and one last family shot, I loved taking advantage of some perfect silhouette lighting.

Jill thanks again for having me out to meet up with your adorable baby. I had a great time seeing you again and getting to know your cuties! As a new client I would love to offer you a little blog challenge. If you can get 25 people to comment on this post I will throw in a darling little wallet brag book. Perfect for showing off  some lovely family photos. So leave some love people!

Perdue Peek

I love my job, one of the best parts of my job is meeting new people, yet the other side of that coin is reconnecting with old friends. Miklyn and I grew up together and spend most of our teenage years connected at the hip and or phone. We went our different ways for college and thanks to the technology of facebook and we reconnected. It was my pleasure to capture Miklyn and her new family at their home. They live on a great farm property outside St. Paul, OR. The country out there is so beautiful and scenic.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Such a beautiful family right.

I love me some rustic old barns so when I saw this one on the property I knew we had to use it.

Maicey is so darling!

Those eye lashes are killer right.

She made me work for the smiles, but they were all worth it.

Miklyn, thanks again for having me out to meet your little princess. She so darling, but I have to admit, seeing you be the wonderful mama you were always meant to be was the best part for me. Who knew a million years ago when we talked about our future kids they would turn out so cute! Thank goodness for facebook and small towns reconnecting us! I will have the whole gallery up soon, I hope you liked the peek.

Pretty Paper Pictures

I got the sweetest email not tooo long ago. You might remember Aimee & Dan from one of my favorite 2009 weddings, or from their engagement/family session in the summer prior. Either way Aimee, Dan and Ethan are awesome, so when Dan emailed me to ask about a family session this year I was 100% in. You see the traditional first wedding anniversary is celebrated with a “paper” gift, so Dan wanted to give his lovely bride the gift of photos. How cute is that!

So we headed out to the streets of lovely Downtown Sherwood, OR to see what we could find, have some laughs and take some photos. Here are a few of my favorites so far:

It’s been a whole year, and clearly everyone has had a good one. Check them out, even more adorable then ever.

Ethan is a seriously handsome kid, and sweet to boot.

I love the bond between mother and son, especially with these two.

Our love birds, cute as ever.

The whole family.

We also had some silliness you see.

Aimee & Dan thanks again for meeting  up with me and strolling around downtown Sherwood with me. I had a great time hanging out with you all and catching up. You all are the best. And of course you know how I love my comment challenges right, so lets have another one shall we? If you can get 30 people to comment on this little post I will throw in a cute little wallet brag book on the house. That should cover part of the “paper” right. 🙂
