Kaitlin & Kellen: love

What is the best way to spend a warm summer evening as a photographer? Well for me it is next to a river, with an adorable couple and camera. I had a wonderful time getting to know Kaitlin and Kellen recently. We walked around a lovely Lake Oswego park, laughed a lot, and took some great photos.

I am so looking forward to their wedding this fall.

Just a babe in the woods

When I started talking to this family a while back about photos for their sweet little girl’s 6 month session we talked a lot about locations. After going over options and backdrop ideas, we settled on a wooded walk. I am so glad we did. Taking these guys to their favorite park/hiking spot was great. We had huge trees providing us shade, a little wildlife, and lots of fun.

Darling baby girl make us work for those smiles, but it was all worth it! I had a great time meeting these guys and look forward to seeing little lady grow.

Emerald & Cody: the wedding

Part of my job is to travel. Sometimes to the other side of the state, some times to the Beach, Gorge, Mountains etc. I love seeing new places and wedding venues!

This time around I did not have to travel far tho! It was so fun to shoot a wedding just down the road from my own home. Really, right down the road, I could have walked. This wedding was sweet and intimate. Talking place at a private family home on a beautiful summer evening.

I had a great time with this family, and group of friends. What a beautiful night and lovely couple!

Lovely Luke and his sweet tribe

It was just a little while ago I worked with this lovely family between the tulips.

On that day we talked about babies, puppies and growing a family.

Last week it was my pleasure to come back and capture these guys again, but this time with babies AND puppies! We had a great time chatting again, and loving on baby Luke. This tribe is a fun one, and I am so glad I get to capture them as they grow this year. 🙂
