deliciously adorable…

As I say all the time, I love a chance to shoot somewhere new. But when that somewhere happens to be one of the Willamette Valley’s most critically acclaimed restaurants, capturing the lovely family that owns and runs the place was a special treat. Oh and did I mention the cherry on top was an incredibly adorable toddler? The entire extended family was just wonderful to capture. We lucked into a clear & pretty winter day, and had a lovely time exploring the property inside and out, we even got to tromp through the kitchen! We may have let the cute little guy pound on pots & pans a bit too, it was so fun. Yeah, it was pretty much delicious all around. 🙂

Here are a few of my many favorites from our time together.

Chris & Mary thanks again to being up for anything! I had a great time capturing your family and especially that cute little guy. I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek. I will be done with the gallery very soon.

thank you for an amazing 2012!

Tonight I finished my last wedding of 2012 (and it was an amazing one!) and could not help but reflect on what an awesome year it has been. I want to really thank all of you who made 2012 such an amazing year for emily g photography! For now I am going to say thank you, unplug & head to the Oregon Coast with friends and family for a few days off. If you need me I will be back to get things going with new energy in 2013!(Thursday Jan 3rd to be more specific)

Here are a few of the many, many, many images I captured in 2012 that still make me smile…

adorable, merry & bright!

You know what makes me happy this time of year? Holiday music (especially when sung by the cast of Glee or Rat Pack members), sparkly lights, adorably mess kids crafts, and cute babies under Christmas trees. Yep, I am that girl. I love all things merry & bright, so when families really go all out and make their homes festive for family photos I love it! Just last week I was able to work with a super cute family and bring in all kinds of holiday elements! I knew this would be a good one too being that Sweet Sebastien’s mama is a super talented event coordinator and the genius behind a super cool new dessert & sweet business. Add a cute family and baby to the mix and you get pure holiday magic. Sebastian was SO good for me too, playing peek a boo, showing me his room and toys. Oh and those cheeks! I could capture this little guy all day his cuteness kills me. I had so much fun on this shoot, talking cookies, babies and everything in between.

Here are a few of my favorites…

Heather thanks again for having me out to capture your sweet family, you were all so fun. Sebastian is SO darling! I am so glad we met and hope we can work together again soon. I should be done with the whole set done very soon. For now I would love to offer you a blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this blog post I will throw in a set of darling brag books on the house. So leave some love people!

baby R is 6 months!

How has it been 6 months since darling baby R was in my studio. With her super cute big brother & sister, and the whole fun adorable  family. Well baby girl is back, and even cuter. These past 6 months have been kind, baby R is bigger, cuter and even more fun to capture. This family is always so good for me, but really, the adorable kids, the beautiful fall leaves, it was just too much.

Check out a few from our time together…

Jen & Ryan thanks again for daring the rain for our session. I had a great time catching up and capturing your darling family again. You guys were too fun as always. As you know I love me some blog challenges. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in another set of brag books. I know you can do it again!

silly faces, and poop jokes, just my kind of afternoon…

One thing I love about working with families is seeing different dynamics at play. Seeing families in action is always fun for me, but every once in a while one hits really close to home. Working with the Couture family was just that kind of afternoon. They were full of silly faces, poop jokes, and increasingly hilarious antics. I felt like I fit right in. 🙂 This family had so much love, and so much fun for each-other, and it was my pleasure to capture it with my lens.  From super cute and stylie Mom & Dad, to two hilarious pre-teen brothers, and of course darling baby sister I totally loved them all to bits.

We had way too much fun, here are a few of my many favorites…

Emily & Brian thanks again for making the trek out to the studio, and braving the weather. I had SO much fun with all of you. I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek, I will have the whole set up very soon. For now I would love to throw down a blog comment challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this blog post I will set in a set of those darling brag books on the house. So leave some love people!
