Elliot is One!

How is it possible it was a whole year ago that I captured chubby little newborn Elliot. A whole year, crazy! This time last year I was just finishing wedding season with the oh so lovely Alex as my second shooter. His wife was about to have their first baby and it was my pleasure to capture the little guy once he arrived. Well it’s a year later and chubby little Elliot is now a big walking boy! We met up again and took some family photos this year. It was so fun to catch up, here are some of my favorites. 🙂

Angelena & Alex thanks again for coming out and having me capture your family. Your little guy is SO CUTE! I’ll be done with the whole set soon. 🙂

the holt family 2013

I love it when a plan comes together. Eileen first contacted me to arrange family photos for the summer while all of her kids and her brand new grandson were in town at the same time. When kids grow up and move away it is of course a small miracle when everyone is in the same place at the same time, something to be captured! As the mom of a brand new pre-schooler I can simply not imagine, so I was more than happy to capture the family while everyone was in Salem for the day.

The whole family was lovely to spend time with. I have to admit the little guy totally stole my heart, so you will see many images of him.

Beautiful boys & bump

What makes for a perfect evening for me and my camera? Hmm lets see, start with a stunning location in the perfect light. Add in a stunningly beautiful family, and top it off with an amazingly stunning pregnant mama. Yep that would be it, and lets just say me and my camera were happy campers just a few weeks ago. Spending the evening with Mercedes and her family was lovely, and I am so happy with the resulting photographs. Her boys kept me on my toes for sure, but it was a great time.

Goodell Family 2013

Man it has been a great year! Filled with beautiful weddings, great events and of course cute cute babies. One of my favorite babies to follow this year is none other than my dear friend Alicia’s baby girl. I originally got to know Alicia from her beautiful floral work in the wedding industry. Over the last couple years we have become friends and it has been an honor to capture her family this year as her baby girl went from bump, to baby, to now cute little toddler! Baby girl is SO CUTE! And of course her big brother was adorable. It was fun to capture the whole family again.

Rad little Rowynn is one!

I first met Chris & Cyndie at the super rad wedding of Katie & Jim last summer. We talked briefly of family & baby photos. I knew any friends of Katie & Jim wold be fun to work with, so when they contacted me to set up a session timed with their daughter’s first birthday I could not wait. Chris, Cyndie and the family were wonderful with work with. This family is sweet, charming and full of character. It really was my pleasure to capture them at this special time.
