Simon is One!

It was just a year ago Mr Simon was a sleepy little newborn, and now he is a walking, squealing toddler. My how the time flies! For his summer time 6 month session we were outdoors in the country, so we picked the studio & some city shots for his 1 year photos. The whole family was great to work with as always. I not going to lie I am sad that his “babies first year” is officially over, these kiddos are always fun to point a camera at!

Here are a few of my many, many favorites so far:

Gah that little face kills me! Crissie & Dan thanks again for trekking into town for the shoot. It has been a pleasure to work with you all this year. I have loved watching your baby grown and your little girl get bigger too! Can’t wait to do this all again next year! As you know I will have the whole gallery done very soon. For now shall we throw down a blog contest? If you can get 30 people to comment on this post, I will throw in another set of cute little books.

little miss Isla

I first met Becca & Ian in the fall for their maternity session. After spending an afternoon with them talking about babies & birth I knew I liked them. I was really looking forward to working with them again so when the email came that baby girl had made her appearance I was super excited. Isla was the perfect newborn to work with. She is first of all adorable in every way. Her tiny round nose, her sweet busy feet, her full tummy and chubby legs, gah makes me (almost ha) want to have another baby. She was chill and sleepy for me, and even let out a few little smiles. It was my pleasure to point my camera at the little family

ALmost completely done with this session already! I could not help but edit these. Becca & Ian thanks again for having me into your home and being so patient with all the crazy morning issues. I loved seeing you all again, and most of all meeting your little lady. She is a doll. I look forward to seeing you all again soon as she gets even bigger. As you know I love my little blog post challenges. If you can get 30 people to comment on this little post I will throw in a darling set of mini brag books. Perfect for showing off a little lady to office mates & friends.

and baby makes 3

M&M were married in the summer of 2009. It was my pleasure to capture them on their big day, and it was my honor to capture them again this winter as they went from a happy couple to sweet little family of three. I think we were all excited about the addition of sweet Adelyn! She is adorable, sweet and above all so very loved. I just love it when wedding clients call or email to tell me they are expanding their families. For me shooting a wedding is all about telling the story of a couple and their special day. Capturing them again when they have little ones in the mix is just the next chapter of that story. 🙂

Here are a few of my favorites from our session together:

Micah thanks again for having me out to meet your little lady. She is absolutely adorable. I am so very happy for you all! So you know how I love the blog comment challenges. If you can get 30 people to comment on this little post I will throw in a set of darling brag books on the house. 🙂

what are the odds

What are the odds, that two set of twin boys would be born with in just weeks of each-other and end up neighbors? Both sets are very loved little miracles. Both sets are silly, cute boys. Both sets have a bigger calmer brother, and a slightly smaller more bold brother. Really what are the odds! The first set of twins happen to be my nephews, so when their neighbors called to schedule a session before the holidays I jumped at the chance. We had a lovely time chatting about baby boys, playing with the little guys and taking some fun photos.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Tony & Davone thanks again for having me into your home, your little guys were just adorable. I had a great time working with all of you. I hope your travels went well too. I will have the whole set for you very soon!
