chubby cheeks & polka dots

Just 6 months ago sweet little Cecelia was just a tiny little newborn, and now she is a busy, opinion filled chubby baby girl. It was my pleasure again to capture her, and her darling family. Andrea decided this time she wanted to venture out into the big city and find some fun outdoor setting for our shoot. Cecelia clearly dug the people watching and the city energy. It was fun to see her eyes light up as big buses went by. This baby girl has character to spare!

Here are few of my favorites from our session so far:

Andrea thanks again for meeting me out on such a warm muggy day, it was fun to see you and the family again. Your baby girl is just darling! I am so looking forward to seeing her get even bigger and more personality filled this year. I will have your full gallery ready very soon, but for now I would love to throw down a blog post challenge for you. If you can get 30 people to comment on this blog post I will throw in a darling set of brag books on the house. So leave some love folks.

Beautiful Belly

When Heather and I first started talking about her maternity session she had some very specific things she wanted to capture in the shoot. She wanted to do some images at home that were a bit more intimate and celebrated the beauty of the pregnant form. She also wanted to do some outside of her home and in her neighborhood of Kenton in NE Portland. She and Kevin had moved there in the past few years and really fallen in love with the neighborhood & community. She wanted this special time in her live reflected in the area she loves, and I was happy to oblige. When we met for the session I was so happy we went with her plan. Heather & Kevin’s home and gardens are filled to the brim with personality, and her neighborhood was so fun to explore.

Here are just a few favorites from our shoot together…

Heather and Kevin thanks for having me into your home. It was a pleasure to meet you two, and get a glimpse into your lives. I really had a great time capturing it. I can not wait to come back and meet your little lady. I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek, I will have the whole set for you very soon.

and just like that she is one!

Wow a year went by fast! It seams like just yesterday I was working with a darling smiling newborn & her still toddler like big brother. And now she is a big girl and he is a super sweet big brother who is all big boy! Even 6 months ago they were darling, but now it is almost too much cute. The long eye lashes, the curls, really it is just not fair how darling these kids are. It was my pleasure to capture this family again a few weeks ago on a warm afternoon in Portland.

Here are a few of my favorites so far…

Jessica thanks again for being up for anything. I had a great time catching up with you and your family. It has been my pleasure to watch your little ones grow & capture it with my lens. I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek. I will have the whole set done for you shortly.

Stephanie, Jason and alot of laughter

What can I say about Stephanie & Jason’s engagement session? It was a beautiful warm evening with some amazing sun light. We shot in an adorable small town I have been eying for a long time. And we laughed, we laughed allot.

We laughed about small towns, about crazy jobs, and about shoe addictions. We laughed about nosy old men, and dirty walls I thought looked cool. We laughed about animals, braces and high heels, and we laughed about pretty much everything. By the end of the session my feet were sore from walking this little down from end to end, and my mouth was sore from all of the laughter. It was a good night. 🙂

Here are a few of my many favorites…

Stephanie & Jason thanks for making the trip up to meet me. I really had a lovely time getting to know you guys, and of course laughing. I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek. Your gallery will be done here shortly. For now I would love to throw down a blog challenge. I do this for all of my new clients. If you can get 30 people to comment on this blog post, I will throw in an 11×14 mounted wall print on the house. So leave some love folks.

and then there were 3

With parents like Monica & Jordon I knew baby Andrew would be sweet, adorable, and probably give me at least a little bit of a hard time. You see not only are Mom & Dad former wedding clients, I now call them friends. I adore these two, and their hilarious energy. Little Andre did not disappoint. He is so darling, but of course took some work to get to sleep. I think he knew how much fun we were all having just hanging out with him. Once we got him down he was a perfect little dude for me. Here are some of the many, many images we took that day…

M&J thanks again for having me out to capture your darling little guy. I just adore him, and loved seeing you all together as a family. I can not wait to see him get bigger and how his personality develops. I expect a darling little goofball of course. I am again so happy for you all! I hope he is letting you sleep, and when the time comes to get out of the house for cold beverages you let us know. I think my husband would like to talk your ear off again sometime soon.:)

Oh and of course you remember the blog challenges right?! If you can get 30 people to comment on this here post I will throw in a darling little set of brag books on the house. So… you know what to do…
