You know it is going to be a good session when a client asks if she can break our her full head horse mask.
Um yeah, these two pretty much rock. Instead of heading out on the town they wanted to stay close to home and celebrate the wonderful space they have created. I love the personality in the details of their space, in doors and in the garden. These two were so fun to work with get to know. Their personalities couple not have been more honest and fun to capture.

I adore Genovieve & Johnathan, its just that simple. They are sweet, kind, and so utterly in love with each-other it shines in front of the camera. You might remember their engagement session from not to long ago here. Well just a few short weeks ago it was time for the big day. It was SUCH a stunning event, filled with so much joy. These two were married at the beautiful Reserve Golf Club & Vineyard, and pulled a great team together to pull off the day. I have to point out Liz of Fleurology Floral design did an amazing job with flowers and decor. I loved that both of the couples much beloved interests (him poetry & classic writers, and her music) were included in so many of the days details. The whole scene was so creative & personal at each turn. So much beauty & love in one place!

I love this time of year, when the weather is warm and the kids are out enjoying the heat. I admit sometimes the heat is a bit much, but in Oregon when we are soggy & cold most of the year. I love the beginning of summer mornings when you just cant help but drink in the heat and smile at the sun. Not too long ago I spent a warm summer morning with the Oellrich & Klam families. It was a fun time, cute kids and lots of warm sunlight. Groups with lots of small kids can be challenging but these kids were all lovely & adorable to work with. I had a great time with the whole family.

When I first met Jenna & Chase they suggested meeting at their favorite local pub. (Always a good sign 😉 On our first meeting we talked for what seamed like ages over good pints of beer and lots of laughter. Chase & Jenna are funny, smart, stylish and so fun to hang out with. I knew their engagement session would be a great time, and they would be wonderful in front of the camera. They did not disappoint. These two have a great & fun dynamic. Chase is classically handsome, and the way he looks at his lady is melt worthy. Jenna, is stunning (hello I am a sucker for the readheads!) and has quite possibly the best laugh ever in the whole world. Her smile killed me the entire evening. Even when the rain started to fall a tiny bit at the end, and we had to navigate around the naked bike ride (uh yeah I love Portland) they had the best smiles to capture. Quite simply, I adored pointing my big camera at these two.
