check it out!

It is always lovely to hear others like my work, but sometimes it can cause a major geek out. The most recent geek out was caused by an image of mine being featured on the Colin Cowie Weddings website. If you are familiar with the wedding world or silly wedding late night TV you might recognize him. 😉 The image is from an amazing shoot I did with the ever so talented Bella Bloom Florals team. The entire shoot was featured on Style Me Pretty a while back too (yeah I geeked out about that one too).

Thanks again to all who have supported me in the past year! It has been wonderful to have these fun little things to geek out about. 🙂

Princess Aurora is getting so big!

Babies, babies, babies, so many cute baby girls on the blog today! How lucky am I. Next up is darling little Aurora. She was SO good for me. For 25 solid minuets all she did was belly laugh. For real, I love this kid. The big blue eyes, the chubby rolls, it is just too much. Her whole family was just wonderful to work with as always. I am so lucky to be able to watch her grow via the camera lens.

Here are a few of my many, many favorites…

Josie thanks again for coming down to the studio. It was great catching up and playing with your darling baby girl. I just adore her! I hope she is  just as fun at home for you! I am so looking forward to our next play date. 🙂 Enjoy your sneak peek, I will have the whole set done very soon.

fun on the farm

I am such a lucky girl…

Each year I get to have little play-dates with darling children from all over the area.

I get to capture them with my camera, tease them into smiling, and make their mama’s happy with pretty photos.

Not too long ago (before the monsoon’s hit!) I got to play with two darling little girls and their always sweet Mom & Dad on a local farm for the afternoon.

Here are some of my favorites…

Michelle thanks again for making the trek up to see me again this year, it was great to see you all again! I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek, I will have the whole set done for you soon. 🙂

Look who is 1 year old!

Miss CC made me work for it, but she is totally worth it. Look at those eyes, look at those lashes! Some times the smiles do not come easy, but they are always worth the work. Little miss came to visit me at the studio and started with the stink eye, but in the end we were all friends. I mean really how could you not love that tiny little diva face.

Here are a few of my favorites from our session…

Andrea thanks for coming down to the studio and catching up. It was great to see you all again! Little lady has grown so fast! You know the drill I will have the whole set done for you very soon! I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. Tell the little diva I said hello. 🙂

Tanya & Kevin are married

Tanya & Kevin set about their wedding planning with a few simple goals, to celebrate their love with friends & family, to create a warm inviting environment for their celebration, and above all have a fun day. They were a success on all accounts. Their wedding was warm, intimate and full of so much love for friends & family it was impossible not to smile. One never knows how the weather in Oregon will be in October but we lucked into a beautiful crisp & dry fall day. Jeri with Bella Bloom Florals did an amazing job with all the decor and coordination of the day. Courtney with Human & Beauty also did a stellar job with our lovely bride’s hair & makeup. It really was my pleasure to capture these two love birds and spend time with such a tight knit group.  I also loved that even though Tanya’s family family was continent’s away in Bulgaria through the magic of the internet they took part in the whole day. You have to love that. Kevin & Tanya spend most of their time away from the Pacific NW working in both Alaska & the Bahamas so it was special to capture this time at home for them with many of their loved ones.

It was a lovely afternoon, here are some of my favorites…

Tanya & Kevin thank you again for having me out to capture your wedding. All of your friends and family were wonderful to spend time with. I hope you have enjoyed your sneak peek. I will have the whole set done for you very soon! I hope your travels up north were smooth, and your time away is super successful. I truly enjoyed working with you both while you were in town. 🙂
