His idea: their vintage scooters in front of a bad-ass local mural… love it

Her idea: super cool local vintage video game arcade… yeah totally love it

Bonus idea: freakishly stunning day and the fall leaves across the street… yeah did that too

It is a huge understatement when I say I love this couple, and CAN NOT WAIT for their wedding next summer.

For real Molly & Geoff thanks so much for dragging my butt down to Eugene and sharing your hood with me. I had a blast! I can not wait for your wedding next summer, and to get the chance to capture you two once again. I should be done with the whole set very soon, for now I would love to offer you a blog challenge. I only recently met Geof, but I have known Molly for about 5 years. I believe you totally captured their personalities and showed how very much they love each other. These photos are so much fun to look at and I agree with Molly that she picked the right photographer for such an important event. Can’t wait for the wedding so I can see your photos depicting their deep and abiding love for each other. I know they will be both fun and beautiful from what I see here.

Geoff has been one of my best friends for 8 years and I am SO happy that he and Molly are getting married!!! Much love to both of them!
That big black and white at the arcade is my favorite I think, but they are all awesome!!! Love the colors! You did a great job and if I ever need photos, you’re on the list!

baby R is 6 months!

11.29.12

How has it been 6 months since darling baby R was in my studio. With her super cute big brother & sister, and the whole fun adorable family. Well baby girl is back, and even cuter. These past 6 months have been kind, baby R is bigger, cuter and even more fun to capture. This family is always so good for me, but really, the adorable kids, the beautiful fall leaves, it was just too much.

silly faces, and poop jokes, just my kind of afternoon…

One thing I love about working with families is seeing different dynamics at play. Seeing families in action is always fun for me, but every once in a while one hits really close to home. Working with the Couture family was just that kind of afternoon. They were full of silly faces, poop jokes, and increasingly hilarious antics. I felt like I fit right in. 🙂 This family had so much love, and so much fun for each-other, and it was my pleasure to capture it with my lens. From super cute and stylie Mom & Dad, to two hilarious pre-teen brothers, and of course darling baby sister I totally loved them all to bits.

We had way too much fun, here are a few of my many favorites…

Darling Scarlett

I know I say it all the time, and you are sick of hearing it, but I love my job. I love watching families change, age & grown in front of my camera lens. Miss Scarlett started out as a bubbly baby, moved to a cute toddler last year, and is now a full fledged young lady. Oh and lets not forget a soon to be big sister. I had a great time catching up with this marvelous family, playing around the studio, and taking advantage of a lovely late fall sunset. I love combining a kids session with a few maternity images too, just makes me more excited to see them again when baby arrives!

Oh my, talk about saving the best for last – I love the shot of swinging Scarlett between Wes and Shannon’s legs. Also the close-up of Scarlett sitting sideways on the chair with eyebrows raised – she is such a beautiful, happy girl! Excellent album, can’t wait to see the rest!
