getting ready for a very wiggle & giggle filled move

What a year it has been for the C family, first they added a darling baby boy to their family, and now they are moving into a beautiful new house! To celebrate both the new home and the big adorable 1 year old we headed over to the new digs and took some fun photos. While the boys really put me through my paces and kept me running, it was great to catch up with this adorable family. We had a great time talking about everything from first steps to moving boxes, we even spotted a few friends at big brothers new school just down the street!

Check out some of my favorites…

Leah thanks again for being up for anything. Your boys are adorable, and so fun to capture. I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek! I will have the whole set done for you shortly.

baby brother for brown the brown eyed boy :)

It seems like just yesterday I was waddling up a flight of stairs with all of my newborn kit in tow getting ready to capture baby Banks. It was a great session, with a great little family. Well just over 3 years later  (or just under?) I was back to capture a darling baby boy, this time big B’s little brother! Erica & Mike you make some seriously beautiful baby boys.  Baby Michael was just adorable for me, and so smiley! It was great catching up with the whole family.

Here are a few from our session…

Erica & Mike thanks again for all of your flexibility, and understanding. I am so happy with the resulting photos, and so happy to have captured your lovely family again. 🙂 For real, your boys are adorable! I hope you enjoyed  the full sneak peek. I will have the full set done very soon. For now you know how I roll, it is blog challenge time. If you can get 30 comments on this post I will throw in a set of brag books on the house.

Gina + Chris = Love

Gina & Chris are troopers. As most of you know Oregon ended up with quite a warm fall this year. Most of September & October were unseasonably warm and dry. So while Gina & I were planing their engagement session we had that in mind. I had a mild fall day imagined, with just a hint of sunshine. Well we did end up with clean skies, and a hind of sunshine, but there was nothing mild about the day. We ended up out and about in near freezing conditions, but Gina & Chris were troopers! No complaining at all, and Gina even sported a cute little sun dress! We had a great time laughing about the weather, wedding planning, and creepy 70’s wall art. In short it was a fun afternoon, even if I did have to break out my gloves for the first time in the season. 😉

Here are a few of my many favorites…

Gina & Chris thanks again for being up for anything! I had a great time with you two, and I am so looking forward to the wedding. Lets hope for a tad warmer weather. 😉 I am almost done with the whole set! For now I would love to offer you a bit of a blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this blog post, I will throw in a 11×14 wall print on the house. So leave some love people!

watch baby Madison grow!

My my what a few months can do. They turn a tiny squishy baby into a mini toddler trying her best to be independent. It is amazing how fast that baby phase passes. 🙂 Maddy is so full of spirit and spunk, I just adored capturing her again. This time we ventured outside on a nice fall day and played with the leaves and few colorful murals in SE Portland. It was great to catch up with her pretty Mama & Grandma too. 🙂

On to the images!

D thanks again for making the trek up. It was great to see you all again. I will be done with the gallery shortly. 🙂
