Lindsay + Nick = Love

I first met Lindsay & Nick last year when they were attendants in Rachelle & Courtney’s killer West End Theater wedding. That was one of my favorite weddings of the year, so when Lindsay & Nick contacted me I KNEW I had to hang out with that crowd again. I had so much fun catching up with these two. After one happy hour and many emails we set up time to go out and take some engagement photos. We had so much fun talking around Portland’s east side, talking about weddings and music. We lucked into a stunning fall evening, and make some great images.

Here are a handful of my favorites from our session together.

Lindsay & Nick thanks again for meeting up with me and being so fun to capture. I am stoked for your spring 2014 wedding! It is going to be grand. 🙂 For now shall we throw down a blog contest? If you can get 30 people to comment on this little post I will throw in an 11×14 wall hanging on the house. So leave some love for these love birds!

marissa & Tyler are married!

Who doesn’t adore Marissa & Tyler?! They are sweet, funny and man do they know how to throw a party! I knew after our first meeting they would throw a killer wedding, but during our beer and ice cream themed engagement session I was completely sold. After all they met in the wine industry and have a super intense love of all things traveling, how could they not be great! When the day rolled around I was super excited to roll down to Eugene and hang out for the day. Let’s just say Marissa & Tyler did not disappoint. It was a stunning day filled with love, laughter and some seriously awesome moves on the dance floor.

super sweet Sienna

It was just over a year ago I was up at The Resort at the Mountain capturing Victoria & Steve’s beautiful fall wedding. It was a beautiful day, almost as beautiful as the news that they were expecting a little girl this fall. Saying I was excited to meet her would be an understatement. 😉 Well the day arrived, and Sweet Sienna did not dissapoint. She was chubby, and sleepy and perfect for me. 🙂

Here are some photos to prove it…

Victoria and Steve thanks again for trusting me to capture this special time in your lives. Sienna is perfect, and I am so happy for all of you. Really really thrilled to get to capture the next year of her life too! So you know the drill, I love me some blog comment challenges. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in a darling set of brag books. So leave some love people!

Elliot is One!

How is it possible it was a whole year ago that I captured chubby little newborn Elliot.  A whole year, crazy! This time last year I was just finishing wedding season with the oh so lovely Alex as my second shooter. His wife was about to have their first baby and it was my pleasure to capture the little guy once he arrived. Well it’s a year later and chubby little Elliot is now a big walking boy! We met up again and took some family photos this year. It was so fun to catch up, here are some of my favorites. 🙂

Angelena & Alex thanks again for coming out and having me capture your family. Your little guy is SO CUTE! I’ll be done with the whole set soon. 🙂

Jessica & Phil are married!

I think it is impossible not to like Jessica and Phil, they are kind, witty and totally down to earth. When we started talking months and months ago I knew their day would be a good one to capture. No divas or egos taking over, no drama. Just two super sweet people who prioritize fun, friends and family making a day perfect for them. All of my assumptions were confirmed when we happened to shoot their engagement session on a boiling hot day with no complains. Again no divas, just funny chatter and a nice time with a great couple. Have I mentioned my clients are the best?

Jessica and Phil were married on a perfectly warm summer day in Salem, OR. We spent time at her mothers home, the First Presbyterian Church and The Mission Mill for the reception. It was a great time filled with love, laughter, family and lots of fun.

On to the photos!

Jessica and Phil thanks again for trusting me to capture your big day. It really was our pleasure. I wish you two nothing but the best in your life together. I hope you have enjoyed your sneak peek. Your whole gallery will be up very soon! Friends and family if you also want access to the entire gallery please leave a comment below and I will send it out when it is ready.
