Sam + Amy = Love

Sam and Amy were SO FUN to capture at our recent engagement session. These two kept me laughing the entire time. We spent a beautiful sunny afternoon enjoying a bit of fall color, and the colorful NE Portland neighborhood. We laughed , we talked weddings, we made faces, it was a good time. These two women have such a natural chemistry and humor it really was my pleasure to point a camera at them. I am so looking forward to their spring wedding in the gorge!

On to the photos!

Sam & Amy thanks for being so much fun and spending your afternoon with me. It was a pleasure to get to know you two better. I am so looking forward to your wedding in the new year! It is going to be a great one, I just know it. I should have your full gallery up very soon. For now I would love to offer you a little blog contest. If you can get 30 people to post a comment on this post, I will throw in an 11×14 wall hanging on the house. So leave some love folks.

Brian & May are married!

In the post below you will see some of my favorite things come together. A stunning venue (the World Forestry Center), a darling & happy couple (The super awesome Brian & May), a fun wedding party, a beautiful day, and a hopping dance-floor. As a wedding photographer you really can not ask for much more. Brian & May were so fun to capture, and the entire wedding party cracked me up. Even when we were being stalked by the “crazy cat guy” in the park it was a great day. Weddings like this remind me why my job is so awesome. 🙂 I also loved the all in dancefloor, everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE got out and cut a rug that night. And let me say, May & Brian’s mothers both have some smooth moves! Man it was a good time.

On to the photos!

Brian & May thank you again for having us out to capture your big day. It truly was a fantastic wedding, and our pleasure to be a small part of. I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek, the entire gallery will be ready very soon!

Adorable Annalise is One!

Wow! It was three years ago this month I was posted a sneak peek of Julie & Kris’s stunning Zenith Vineyards wedding. Then last year I got to blog about a beautiful belly and then darling baby girl. Well Julie, Kris and now Annalise are back, and sweeter than ever. We spent a crisp morning together recently to celebrate baby girl’s first birthday. We started with a handful in the studio then went outside to capture a few leaves and rays of sun. Man this October has been stunning!

Here are a few of my favorites…

Julie & Kris thank you so much for allowing me to capture your family at such important milestones. Your baby girl is darling! I can’t wait to see her grow even bigger as time goes on. For now I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. As you know I am a lover of all things blog contest… if you like you can encourage your friends and family to leave a comment below. If you get 30 comments another set of darling little brag books will be coming your way.

Eric & Heather are married!

Eric & Heather’s Anderson Lodge Wedding makes me happy. I mean how can it not. It was warm beautiful day, with great friends, good food and stunningly beautiful scenery. They might have also had one of the summer’s most entertaining wedding parties. After the knife fights and somewhat sweaty dancing it was a great day. Eric and Heather also did a wonderful job of making their wedding feel warm and welcoming to everyone who attended. It makes sense as our lovely couple is super sweet, warm and kind too.

It quite simply was a wonderful day.

Here are a handful of the many photos I wanted to share…

Eric & Heather Thanks so much for having us up to capture your big day. It truly was our pleasure. I wish you two nothing but joy in your lives together. 🙂 Your full gallery should be done very soon.
