biger, better, and even more adorable, how is that even possible!

It all started four years ago when a cute little toddler giggled and smiled for me during an adorable family session. It was a great session, one of my favorites for the year actually. The next year we topped it with the same baby girl and her brand new tiny little brother, another great session I am super proud of.  We followed that up with fun in the country with so much cuteness and fuzzy blonde hair I got a little sugar shock.  Then a combo part studio part downtown session the next year I loved. THEN last year we had a bit of fun on a clear chilly morning in forest park.

That is a lot of successful and adorable sessions. So I have to admit sometimes with such a great track record I get a little nervous with how we are going to top it. This year we shot at the families new home on the west side of town. And I have to say I am so happy with the results. The home was lovely, the weather was great, and the kids were so good for me. It might just be my favorite session yet!

Get ready for a long peek, I have lots to show off…

Crissie & Daniel thanks again for having me into your home this year. Your kids are adorable as always! It was great seeing you all again, and catching up at home. I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. You know know how I roll, if you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in a set of brag books on the house. So leave some love people!

Perdue Family 2013

Man what fun it has been to catch up with my “regulars”. The families I see each summer or fall to update their family photos and capture how the babies have grown. While I have known Mama for years it has only been a couple years I have had the pleasure of taking photos of the babies. We started when miss Maisey was just a toddler, then again when she grew into a bundle of curls and giggles in their new house. Then again last year when we added a super cute little brother to the mix. It has been fun, so when we met up this year to take some more photos I  was excited to see how much these two had grown. They did not disappoint!

Here are a few of our favorites…

Miklyn & Josh thanks again for meeting up with me, and sharing your family time. Your little ones are crazy darling, even when they are making me work for it. 🙂 The full gallery will be ready soon!

Samantha and Gavin thanks again for having us out to capture your big day. You two were incredibly fun to work with this year, and I loved every second of your big day. Even with the rain and the small hiccups in scedule it was an amazingly wonderful event. I truly wish you two nothing but joy in your lives together. It was my pleasure to capture this symbolic start to the next phase of your adventure together. I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. The full gallery will be up very soon.

Luca is 6 months old!

Let’s be real, Luca is all things sweetness, light and wonderful. I can not get enough of this baby boy for real! It helps that I adore his Mama’s something fierce. I started working with Mandy & Melissa years ago on their engagement session, then wedding. So of course I was thrilled last year to capture their maternity and newborn sessions with the sweet little guy. It has been such a joy to capture these important milestones. For Luca’s 6 month mark I talked the family into coming out to my neck of the woods for something more small town and rural. We started in the fields then headed into adorable downtown St. Paul, OR. It was a chilly foggy morning, but we had a great time.

Here are some of the images we made…

Melissa and Mandy thanks again for meeting up with me and having me capture your family. Luca is such a sweet baby, it has been so fun to see him grow. I am really looking forward to more fun around his first birthday! I hope you enjoyed the peek. The whole gallery should be done very soon. 🙂
