more fun in the fall colors

Man I have been lucky this year. Not only has the weather cooperated way more than usual for fall in Oregon, I have als0 had the chance to meet some darling new little people. Just a few short weeks ago I had the opportunity to capture two adorable little ladies in the fall leaves. It was a chilly morning, but full of pretty light, impish smiles and allot of giggles. It was a great time. The whole Sainton family was a pleasure to work with and point my big camera at.The whole family was great and full of life. Especially Melissa who was running after little girls while caring baby number three, it was very impressive.

Here are a few of my many favorites from our session.

Justin & Melissa thanks again for braving the chilly morning and meeting up with me. It was my pleasure to capture your family. Your girls are a hoot! And congratulations again on your coming little one. I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. As you know I am a lover of all things blog contest… if you like you can encourage your friends and family to leave a comment below. If you get 30 comments another set of darling little brag books will be coming your way.

such a sweet little lady

Don’t let the dimpled smiles and perfectly delicious chubby cheeks fool you, baby K made me WORK for those adoring looks. And I loved every second of it. 🙂 I mean how could I not complete adore that face and those chubby legs! For real this baby girl is adorable, so even if I had to break out my whole bag of baby tricks it was worth every second.

behold the cuteness:

April thank you for having me into your home. Your baby girl is darling! I can’t wait to see her grow even bigger as time goes on. For now I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. Brooks Family 2013

It’s so nice to see families over and over again  to document their growth. A few years back I got to capture a darling baby girl (remember this little bunny?) and then again while grandma was in town. Well baby girl is back, so much bigger and now even a big sister! It was a pleasure to catch up with the whole family at home on a cool foggy Portland morning. Big sister was a hoot to capture. So full of stories and dance moves! Baby sister was also adorable, though her smiles were much harder to come by. 😉 I had to work harder but oh man that cute chubby face made it totally work it! It was great catching up with the whole family again.

Here are a few of my many favorites from our time together:

Kelly thanks again for having me into your home to capture your darling family. I really had a great time seeing you all again. I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. You know know how I roll, if you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in a set of brag books on the house. So leave some love people!

Colleague Love: Bella Bloom Florals

I had the pleasure of capturing a stunning wedding this summer at The Reserve Golf Course and Vineyard, but due to privacy requests on behalf of the couple I was not able to share it on my blog. I totally respect couple’s wishes if they do not want their images online. I did however get permission to share a few images of their big day not containing people. I was thrilled to as the floral designer that day is not only a dear friend of mine, but crazy talented. Jeri with Bella Bloom Florals did a stunning job of infusing color and texture into the day. The alone bouquet was amazing!

I love working with Jeri and her team. They are super creative and talented, but also extremely professional and kind people. She really does amazing work, I would  and have recommend her any time.

Here are a few images of her work that day I just had to share…

If you want to see more stunning work by Jeri and her team here are a few other occasions we have worked together:

Chehalem Cultural Center Mod/Art Shoot here and at 100 Layer Cake here.

Tanya & Kevin’s Beautiful Intimate Fall Wedding here.

Modern Cinderella Shoot here & on Style Me Pretty here.

Crystal & Troy’s Summer Wine Country Wedding here.

Natalie & John’s Cozy Rural Postlewait’s wedding here.

Whew that is alot! But really every single time I get to point me camera at Bella Bloom’s beautiful; work I am a happy photographer. If you are looking for a wedding floral designer I can not recommend them highly enough.
