2013 was an amazing year for many reasons, and one was the multiple places where my work was published. It was amazing and humbling to see photos I loved taking printed in magazines, books and used by great organizations. It was really fun to see it all happen, though with the business of the year I regretfully did not have time to show it off here. While updating my “Published” page I realized this and thought I would post some images of the publications here. 🙂

Early in the year Jenna & Chase’s wedding was featured in Oregon Bride Magazine.

The next issue featured two images from weddings as well! Craig & Meagan and Courtney & Rochelle were featured in the “weddings of note” section.

Wedding Pride Magazine (out of New York) Featured images from Catherine & Heather’s wedding, as well as Charlotte & Katie’s big day.

It was also super fun to see my work used by one of my favorite venues, the World Forestry Center in their marketing material, as well as in thank you cards (Nicole & David’s) and birth announcements (baby Willa’s) !

And finally it was thrilling to see my work in an actual book! A real life book you can purchase on Amazon! The photography lover and book geek in me is still doing a happy dance. 🙂

Thanks again for all who enjoyed the work I did this year, it was my pleasure to capture so many of you. 🙂

Looking forward to seeing more in 2014!

Niemeyer Extended Family 2014

01.16.14

It’s been over a year and a half since I started working with the N family. First when sweet little Katheryn arrived, then as she grew into a chubby baby and then adorable toddler. So when the family contacted me again to ask if I could fit them in while their extended family was in town I jumped at the chance. While we were hoping for a bit of snow, we lucked into a sunny pretty afternoon in the local park. We had a great time catching up, and talking to the world traveling end of the family. By the way what is cuter than two toe-headed little boys with sparkling smiles? Oh the same boys with Australian accents! The cousins were SO CUTE, and just as darling and well behaved as the Niemeyer kiddos. it was a grand afternoon full of fun, mud and tales of kangaroos.

Jen & Ryan and family thanks again for having me over to capture your family! You all were great to work with, and so much fun to point a camera at. I hope everyone’s travels went well and the whole trip was a success. I will have the whole set done very soon. 🙂

Happy First Birthday PW!

Warning, serious cuteness ahead!

I feel like I say it all the time, but it really feels like just yesterday I was capturing Evan & Devin’s fabulous big day, and now their baby girl is turning one! Of course she was perfect in the studio last year for her newborn session, then outside for her 6 month session, but she was extra fun this year for her one year session. There were tutus, tiaras, balloons, pigtails and even a yummy cake! From this family I should have expected nothing less, I love these guys.

Ev & Dev it was a pleasure to capture your darling baby girl as she grew this year, and I look forward to many more years with your cute faces in-front of my camera! PW is perfectly perfect, and you all make such a beautiful family. I can not wait to see how fun she will be with even more time!

welcome to the world little rex

Darling little Rex with his big blue grey eyes and spunky attitude recently stole my heart. At three weeks old he is already quite clear about his needs, wants and desires. Most of them involving Mom’s arms and milk, but impressive none the less. Rex was adorable for me, and great to have in the studio. It was my pleasure to capture his darling little face and family just last week. It was also a particularly fun session as Mom and I ran in the same circles in collage so there was catching up to do. 🙂

Morgan & Daniel Thanks again for coming down to the studio trusting me to capture your family. Little Rex is the most adorable little man. I hope you all are settling into life with the little guy and getting some sleep! I will have the whole set done for you very soon. 🙂

Katie + Amanda = Love

How cute are Katie & Amanda? For real these two have some sparking chemistry that was my pleasure to capture recently during their engagement session. We spent time on NE Alberta in the neighborhood they spent their first date. I had a great time hearing about matching cars, wedding plans, kids books and Boston Baseball. These two were so fun to spend time with and capture. I am so looking forward to their summer wedding!

Katie and Amanda, thanks again for meeting up with me. I had so much fun getting to know you two. I am so looking froward to capturing your big day this July! I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek.
