Roberta + Keith = Love

After my first meeting with Roberta and Keith I knew theirs was going to be a fun wedding to watch unfold. Most couples take on a few DIY projects for their weddings, but not Roberta, she is going for the DIY queen title. I am super impressed because to date is completely pulling it off in the best way. It has been so fun hearing about the entire process. It was especially fun to meet up at their house recently to do their engagement photos. I got to see not only their lovely home, but a bunch of the wedding projects in process.

I love working in peoples homes and learning more about them. Roberta & Keith’s home was warm, inviting, and perfectly quirky. A perfect reflection of them. We had a great time talking about weddings, birds, entertain dishwashers and small towns.

Here are a handful of images from our session…

Roberta & Keith thanks again for having me into your home. I had a great time spending the morning with you two. I am SO looking forward to the big day in just a few short months. For now I would love to offer you a blog contest. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in an 11×14 on the house.

So leave some love folks.

Julie and her adorable bump

Oh how I love spring, and all her glory. When the days start to warm and the trees start to shoot off those little green buds. It makes me happy and reminds me the summer is just around the corner. One thing I have to look forward to this spring and summer is a slew of tiny little clients coming into the world. It is going to be a baby filled 2014!

And to start it off right  I get to capture several of the expecting Mamas! Julie and I met up last week to show off her growing tummy. We ended up with a cold rainy day so we spent time in the studio. I had such a great time hearing about plans for the new little one, and hearing all about her big sister.

I can not wait to meet the rest of the family here in just a few weeks time!

Julie thanks for coming into the studio and sharing your time with me. I will have the whole gallery done shortly.:)

welcome lovebirds

You know what I love more than a good hometown wedding? I love it when people fall in love with a small town not their own, but fall in love anyway. April and Josh fell in love with Red Ridge Farms and the surrounding towns. So even while they are across the country, they will be spending part of the summer with us here in the Dundee Hills to celebrate their love. As a Dundee Hills girl I love that. 🙂

While they were in town a few weeks back I got to finally meet Josh, and do some engagement photos. Since the wedding photos will be up at the farm we chose to use downtown as the backdrop.  I always love showing off our cute little community, and downtown.

April & Josh are adorable too, super sweet and lovely to capture. We had so  much fun drinking coffee, talking about small towns and weddings. We even laughed at some wild travel stories. It was a great afternoon, I can not wait for the wedding!

April & Josh thanks again for coming out and hanging with me. It was a pleasure to get to know you two. I had so much fun, I can not wait for your wedding in the hills!

For now I would love to offer you a little blog contest. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in an 11×14 on the house! So leave some love folks.

Jordan & Jordan: The Wedding!

More.. More… More…

I just posted many of the images below on facebook but I could not wait to share even more here.

Jordan & Jordan’s winter wonderland wedding was simply stunning! It was elegant, intimate, emotion filled and stylish, perfect for this couple. I have know our lovely bride and her family for many years so it was doubly fun for me to capture these images. I can not begin to say how happy for these two I am.

We all weathered “Snowpocolyps” together and made the best of the ice & snow. I am not going to lie I was a little worried about the drive home, but it was all just wonderful. The whole day was filled with family, love and perfect little snowflakes. J&J were up for anything and totally delt with the cold and snow for photos. I could not have asked for a better couple to capture!

So on to the photos yes?!

Katelin + Sam = Love

To say Katelin and Sam crack me up is an understatement. They are California kids yet they are die hard Oregon and Oregon state fans. They grew up in sunshine yet they long to live in the rainy weather of Oregon. They are getting married in Sunny Ca but were determined to do their engagement session in the Oregon winter. Sam is up here for school currently so it was great to catch them both while Kaitlin was in town.

In short… I love them. How cute are they!

Friends since High School these two grew into more than friends and will make it all kids of official next year. I loved hearing about all their years of friendship and then beginning of their love story. These two have great chemistry as well, always a pleasure to capture! We had so much fun running around NW Portland, being goofy and talking weddings. I repeat SO. MUCH. Fun.

So on to the photos right.

Kaitlin and Sam thanks for meeting up with me during  your mini vacation. I had so much fun with the two of you.

The entire set is almost ready for viewing. For now I would love to offer you a little blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in an 11×14 on the house. So leave some love folks!
