    Celebrating my new wedding website with a special!

    I am so excited to announce that I just launched my brand new wedding website!

    www.emilygphotography.com/weddings is now the home to all things weddings.

    I have separated my wedding and portrait work on two different websites, I am so excited. This has been a long time coming, it is so nice to have it all up. If you go to the main page you can now pick between Weddings, Life, Blog & Shopping. Lots of stuff to look at. On the new site (that has been live in beta form for about a week if you are sneaky) you can now find complete weddings, some of my all time favorite images, style and all sorts of additional information about my wedding work. I have also done some updating of my Life/Portrait site so check it out!

    Here is what the new splash page looks like:

    To celebrate my new wedding site the first couple to book with me for 2009 that references this blog post gets a $100 off their wedding collection! I know lots of couples are in wedding planning mode right now, my phone has been ringing. And remember there is also a special bonus for any previous clients that refers a couple to me! I am so excited for wedding season 2009, so many fun couples have booked already, and I am sure more to come.

    Micah & Micah Love on Hawthorne {Engagment Photos Portland Oregon}

    She is a soon to be school teacher

    He is an architect

    Together they are nothing short of adorable.

    I met up with this fun couple on Hawthorne over the weekend to do some engagement photos. We had a good time walking around the area and finding cool buildings to use. I love SE Hawthorne, there are endless possibilities, every time I shoot there I find something new. Micah & Micah humored me with my crazy ideas. I will be shooting their wedding this summer and I can not wait! From all the reports I am getting it should be a beautiful affair.

    Here are a few of my favorites so far:

    These two have been together since high school, how sweet is that.

    And this crazy blue green wall, I had to tone it down a TON. Talk about bright whew. I loved all the fall tones we had going on that day.

    How perfect is this wall mural! I have so many fun variations of this shot. It was just too perfect.

    I loved the super tall window here. I think this one would look great printed large.

    M & M thanks for traipsing around Hawthorne with me! I can not wait till your wedding, it is going to be beautiful. I should have this whole set ready for you with in a few weeks. I wanted wanted to post a bit of a teaser for you. And also because it is the season I would love to gift you a large print for your home. Let say if you can get 30 comments on this post I will throw in an 11×14 wall print on me .  Remember you can always post links to your myspace, and facebook accounts!

    Amanda & Greg Continued…

    As promised here are a few more of Amber & Gregs super fun wedding.

    They were so very happy to be married. Look at thoes smiles.

    out lovely bride and one of her best friends, they were so fun to hang out with.

    After the photos we headed off to the reception. The couple opted for delicious cupcakes from my all time favorite bakery Saint Cupcake! Yummmm

    The Bride’s Mom and step father were just adorable.

    Like is said, we had lots of fun.

    Lots of fun kids running around as well.

    And the wild boys. I could show you about 50 more of these!
