Evan & Devin the big day!

I just adore Evan & Devin.

From our first meeting over a glass of wine to the last photo of their big day they were nothing short of fabulous to work with. These two have that special, mixture of completely in love, and cheese ball antics that was so fun to capture. You might remember our fun rural engagement session not too long ago. Well just a few short weeks ago they made things official with a lovely intimate ceremony & reception at the always beautiful Portland Art Museum. We used downtown Portland as the backdrop for some fun photos, and celebrated this wonderful couple. It was such an amazing event! The Crumpacker ballroom was the perfect location for their Alice in Wonderland inspired reception too. I could go on and one really, lets get to the images shall we. :)

    Rachelle + Courtney = Love

Rachelle emailed me a while back to inquire about engagement photos. You see her her girlfriend had just proposed and they were over the moon excited to celebrate. After chatting via email for a while I could tell I was going to like these two, they were sweet, funny and over the top in LOVE. I can not ask for more, so when they showed up on a blustery rainy morning with beautiful smiles on their faces, I could not help but smile too. You see we had planned on shooting outside while they were in Portland, but due to weather and time constraints we headed inside of my studio building. The local businesses on the main floor were awesome enough to let us crash their spaces as well. A HUGE thank you to Water Ave Coffee & Bunk Bar for being so awesome. It really turned out to be a great session despite the crappy weather! Courtney and Rachelle were wonderful and so adorable to put in front of the camera.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

    Evan + Devin = Love

Evan, Devin and I have been talking for quite a while not about their October commitment ceremony at the beautiful Portland Art Museum. I love my job, talking about flowers, food & reception details over wine and cheese with fabulous clients, it just does not get much better! I am so looking forward to their fall event, it is going to be amazing!

So in preparation for the big day we went out a few weeks ago and did some engagement photos. We wanted to get an outdoors feel as the ceremony portraits will be quite urban. We headed out to Champogne State Park on a beautiufl early summer evening. I even got to play with the furry family members. :)

    Mandy & Melissa the wedding

There is no other way to say this, I adore Many & Melissa! These two ladies are some of the sweetest, kindest people I have had the pleasure of working with. You might remember their beautiful golden summer’s evening engagement session not too long ago. Well their wedding day was beautiful, filled with love and family. Though the weather was a bit different. Driving up to Stevenson Washington I was a bit worried about the weather, but as luck would have it we ended up shooting portraits during the one dry hour of the day. It was rainy, but the entire day was so full of love you would have never known it with the smiles going around. I had a wonderful time getting to know friends and family, and of course taking some lovely photos of our happy couple. I should also give out a huge thank you to my right hand diva of the day Ms Heather Espana. She took some of the photos you see below.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:
