    Wonderful Willa

    Just last week I had the pleasure of capturing one of the areas most adorable little girls, meet Willa. She was sweet, chubby, sleepy and oh so good for me. Not to mention that her absolutely beautiful mama is a super talented photographer (no stress for me geeze). The same super talented photographer that captured my own little ones just a few months back.  But really it was a joy to capture the whole family. Their home was lovely, and miss Willa was perfect for me. Ok Daddy may disagree as he got soiled on at one point, but we all had a good laugh. I am so happy to share these images, and yes there are many. This post is going to be a LONG one. Hope you are comfy :)

    Christy and Kirk thanks for being up for all my crazy ideas! It was a pleasure capturing your family, and little lady. I hope you are all settling in well, and loving these early days.     love in wine country

    How lucky am I, really. My job is to capture beautiful babies and people in love. On top of that my job takes me to incredibly beautiful places on pretty days. Yep, my job is the best.

    On this particular day it was my job to capture Nicole and David. These two will be getting married soon, and wanted their engagement session to be a little more intimate, and show off on of their favorite places, the Solena Winery & Estate in Oregon’s wine country. Being that wine country is literally my back yard, I was excited to capture the day. For our session we lucked into so.e amazing weather, and even some sunshine!

     

    Nicole & David were lovely to capture, and up for anything! I had a great time with these two, and can not wait for the wedding.

    Here are a few of my favorites so far…

    Nicole & David thanks again for having me out to the winery, it was great to spend more time with you two and capture your love for eachother. I can not wait for your big day, it should be a beautiful one! I hope you have enjoyed the sneak peek. I should be done with the whole set shortly.     Perfectly Perfect Phoenix

    How can I explain to you how much I love and adore this family? Well it all started a few years back when I met Evan & Devin for wine, cheese and wedding planning. I think our first meeting was what, 2 hours long? We all totally hit it off, and I knew I NEEDED to be their photographer. Lucky for me the duo hired me to shoot their engagement session and big day. The whole thing was a whirl wind of fun. So when last year Evan told me they would need to hire me again for a maternity & newborn session I was thrilled. You can see their baby bump session here. I am not going to lie, while I loved the bump session, I was super excited to meet the little lady.

    The day arrived, and miss Phoenix did not disappoint. She was sweet, sleepy and endlessly cute. The little family melts me, and makes me happy every time I point my big camera at them.

    Evan & Devin I am so crazy happy for you two. Your little lady is divine! I have loved photographing you two, and can not wait to see her grow this year and beyond.     Yet another adorable Liam…

    January really has been cute baby boy month around here. Today I would like to share darling little Liam with you. Check him out, he is the cutest! Those eyes, those cheeks, those chubby legs. This little guy is lucky to not only be super cute and darling, but he also happens to have a super talented and lovely mama to boot. It was my pleasure to capture his cuteness on a fine sunny winter day in the studio.

    baby bump in the city…

    When Eva and I first started talking about maternity photos a few months ago she new she wanted to capture her growing family in the city she loved. Using the city of Portland as the backdrop was important to her and Peter, and I was happy to oblige. Even though I live just a short distance out of the city proper, I love my hometown of Portland, OR. It is a city full of color, life and so much quirk. It was my pleasure to capture this darling couple, and their “bump in the city”. When the big day came we ended up with some low temperatures and a bit of rain, but they were totally troopers. I can not wait to meet the newest member of this adorable family.

    Eva & Peter thanks again for being up for anything. I loved capturing you two and hearing about your coming little guy. I can not wait to meet him. I hope you all had a happy holiday season! I will be done with the whole set shortly.
