    Mason is One!

How is it possible the tiny little newborn, and then  chubby baby is now a big walking & talking One year old?! This year has flown by, and Mr. M being 1 clearly shows how fast. Once again it was my pleasure to capture the N family and all of their cuteness. This year we captured the boys and all of their energy in their new home and then at a local park. These two kept me on my toes, but were adorable as usual.

Here are a few of my favorites…

Danielle & Matt thanks again for having me out to capture your adorable boys. It has been a pleasure watching them grow and hanging with you all. I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. Full gallery done very soon.

    Sarah & Drew are married!

When I first met with Sarah about her wedding she brought with her a binder over flowing with amazing wedding ideas. Some brides have big ideas but slim it down to a manageable amount. Not our Sarah, she put together a wedding packed full of beautiful moments, amazing decor, and a killer fun vibe. She pulled off every thing she dreamed up, and with style! It really was my pleasure to capture this intensely fun and glamorous event. Who knew she could out do our fun engagement session not to long ago, but girlfriend blew it out of the park! She also looked amazing in both (yes both!) of her stunning dresses. The venue, the details, the magical moments, it was all just perfect. And above all that, we had two people deliciously, and madly in love. Nights like that make my job the best ever.

Here are some of the vendors that made the magic possible:

    Venue: Hotel DeLuxe

    Coordination: Bash Events

    Food: Gracies

    Floral & Design: Blum Floral

Cake & Cookies: Le Cookie Monkey

    Paper Products: Maid of Honor

Photo Booth Fun: Original Photo Booth

    Pedi Cab: Portland Pedicabs

    Now on to the photos!

Sarah & Drew thanks again for trusting me to capture your amazing day. It was really my pleasure, we had a wonderful time! I so enjoyed getting to know all of your friends and family as well. I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon! Enjoy your sneak peek , the whole gallery will be up very soon. Alison & Erin are married!

Last year about this time I met up with Alison & Erin for engagement photos. I totally fell in love with these two that day. Their dynamic is so fun, loving and awesome to capture with a camera. Erin’s silly faces, Alison’s giggle, I just adore these two. So when the big day rolled around last month I was really looking forward to it.

The wedding was held at one of my favorite venues in NE Portland. Decorated to celebrate the couple’s love of the outdoors and combined with some traditional naval flags to honor Erin’s service for our country. You will also notice a certain “stuffed family heirloom” making an appearance in some of the photos. It’s a long story, but it made the night even more fun. Seeing the mixture of both of their out of town families, and in town friends was wonderful too. Clearly everyone was overjoyed for these ladies, and their love for each-other. It was hard to not just smile the entire day.

    Venue: McMenamen’s Kennedy Schoold

Planning & Floral: Your Perfect Bride’s Maid

    Alison’s Dress: David’s Bridal

    Erin’s  suit: United States Navy

    Delicious Doughnuts: Voodoo

Erin & Alison, thanks again for having me out to capture your amazing wedding. I truly had a wonderful time with all of you. I hope you have enjoyed your sneak peek. I will have the whole gallery done very soon. Friends & family if you would like access to the entire gallery when it is ready please leave a comment below and I will send it out as soon as possible. Again it was wonderful to meet you all!

    auntie em loves you

I have taken photos of my little sister many, many times. In a lot of ways she was my very first subject. :)

This time was special, it was not just of her, but of her family. Just a few weeks ago my baby sister became a mother. Crazy, but totally natural. Little miss Amelia Grace is a very lucky girl to have 2 amazingly wonderful, loving and kind hearted parents. It was my pleasure to capture their first family photos, and spend a little solo time with my brand new baby niece.

Kate, Silas & Amelia I love you all to bits. Congratulations on your growing family. :)

When I first met with Megan & Mitch we had a great time chatting over coffee about their big day. Megan told me she wanted her wedding to filled with family and fun. It was important to both of them to reflect their love for the outdoors, and their loved ones.  We had even more fun when we shot their engagement session not too long ago.
