    just the most fun, over the top, sexy maternity session ever.

    If you have lived in the Portland metro area for longer than 5 minuets you know this amazingly beautiful and witty soon to be mama. Daria is absolutely fabulous in every way, so when I heard on the radio she was expecting I just knew I had to do her maternity session. When she contacted me and asked if her fantastic husband Dallas could come, I said heck yeah!

    We had a great time. I just love a pregnant mama that wants to show her sexy side.  Daria & Dallas were  a riot, and I think we got some great images!

    Here are a few of my favorites so far:

    I love that they got all giddy talking about their little dude. He is going to be one loved baby.

    So after a few of the ones above I asked Daria to break out a comic book or two.

    I always like to include people’s art and passions.  Well a comic book or two later we ended up in full on Batman costume! How freaking rad is Dallas for making it work. :)

    Daria & Dallas, I had an absolute blast meeting the two of you. Thanks for letting me have free reign over your home to make the shoot work. I hope you love these as much as I do. I can’t wait to hear all about your little dude. He is one lucky boy! I am already having visions of him cradled in super hero arms. :) And as I do for all new clients I would be happy to offer you a blog challenge. If you can get 25 people to comment on this post I will throw in an 11×14 mounted wall print. You know that is if you can spare a little room on your beautifully covered walls.

    Whitney & Michael’s amazingly beautiful downtown wedding. {1 of 2}

    You might remember Whitney & Michael from their fun and romantic engagement session earlier in the month. I also posted a quick teaser a few weeks ago but now I am back with a full on post full of fun images from their big day. The event was over the top beautiful. Held and the fantastic Benson Hotel it was all about downtown elegance.  Every little detail was well though out and beautiful. I had a wonderful time and was so happy to come out with some great images. You can tell it was a great wedding when you can not wait to edit and start working on the album!

    Here are a few of my favorites from the first part of our day.

    Whitney was the perfect bride, calm elegant and beautiful. She almost made my job too easy.

    Michael was also a fabulous groom to work with.  Super laid back. I got reports from my lovely Second Shooter for this wedding (the lovely and talented Jen) that the boys were great and a bit of a crack up.

    She had a rough job hanging out with smart and handsome doctors all afternoon. ;)

    The girls were also fantastic.  Every one beautiful and witty.  Most of the girls met in dental school and own their own successful practices so you know they are on top of it all.  :)

    After everyone was primped & pressed we set up a first look outside the beautiful hotel.

    I can not tell you how lucky we were to get such great weather in the beginning of April.  Michael & Whitney were absolutely visions, and a joy to photograph.

    Matt & Meghan are FUN! {Portland Oregon Wedding Photography)

    No really they are, and that might even be an understatement! I met this lovely couple a last year in their search for a wedding photographer, Meghan and I both showed up to the coffee shop early so we got a chance to chat before Matt showed up. We laughed and giggled like old friends, by the time Matt came to meet us I knew I just had to do their wedding.  Well after months of planning, sickness, rainy days and scheduling conflicts we finally met up again for engagement photos. And yes I will say it again, these two are FUN! Their wedding has a bridge theme so we met at the beautiful Cathedral Park in the St. John’s area of North Portland. We had a blast, we laughed we giggled, we talked about poop jokes, it was great!

    It was very very hard to choose, but here are a few of my favs so far. Be warned there are allot of them!

    We started with the whole family, their little lab girl was such a cutie! And this yellow wall was perfect with Matt’s favorite collage jacket. It’s Go Huskies right? Gah I am so bad about remembering teams.

    Did I mention the cute pup? She was such a sweet girl, and only licked my lens once!

    Once we got a few with the sweet doggy we got under the bridge to get some of that cool architecture. I just love the view here, and I can still hear Meghan’s cute laugh!

    Some couples have to take a little time to warm up, not these two, they were so great in front of my camera!

    and speaking of busting up, oh my dog these two had me in stitches! the scene on the left is what they call “Surfing Meghan” I believe. They bust out that move at weddings I hear, I am so hoping to get that one on their big day again. Can you imagine!M&M get ready!

    Guys I had an absolutely fabulous time with the two of you. I will have the whole set for you soon, and we can get started on that sign in book of yours! Thanks again for being so fun!     I have been a busy bee editing some fun stuff from Michael & Whitney’s amazing wedding last weekend. You might remember these two from their engagement photos not too long ago.

    The grand event was at the beautiful Benson Hotel downtown Portland. Every little detail was just lovely. I am already working on a full peek and slide-show, but for now I just had to post one. Here are our lovely bride & groom in front of the old historic courthouse. I just love the way he makes her smile!
