    I heart warm summer nights with nice people

    When Jamie (the mama) called me a few weeks back to inquire about a family session I knew instantly it was going to be a great session. She had done her homework and was familiar with my style and down for what ever it took to make a great session. She also loved the idea of running around a local nature preserve I had been eying for months to shoot. It was perfect, so when the night came up and the temperature was not too hot, or too cold I knew it would be a good night. Oh and it helps that the entire family is completely beautiful.

    I meet up with this adorable family at the Tualitin River National Wildlive Refuge just before sunset, and we had a lovely time running around, picking blackberries, chasing grasshoppers.

    I could do the longest post in the world with all of my favorites, but I will be good. Here are a few of my favs so far:

    Meet the little dude, he completely stole my heart. He the cutest! He just turned 2 and is always on the go! He gave me a work out for sure keeping up with him, but so worth it for that smile.

    Mom & Dad are also very sweet and hello adorable!

    We have lots of fun running around the reserve. They have some beautiful trails perfect for capturing that late summer warmth.

    Little dude is ALL BOY. I scored big points when I caught a grasshopper for him to check out. Gah look at that smile, so cute!

    Liv & Alan make me smile

    The wonderful Liv & Alan have graced this little ‘ol blog before. You remember their super fun & funky engagement photos here right?! Well just a few short weeks ago these two wonderful people stood up in front of their friends & families and took their vows. I was again honored to capture the big day with my camera. The whole day was beautiful and full of so much love. I had an absolutely fantastic time, it was so very hard to choose photos for a peek! Ask Livvie I have been “working on it” for days now! :)

    Well here you go kids, just a smattering of what I have so far. Many more to come, and of course the whole set very soon!

    Liv & Alan were married at a private home with lots of beautiful spots for photos, especially for right shots.

    We set up our first look on a secluded side of the house away from prying eyes. I love the emotion between them. Makes me all gushy the love is so apparent.

    The whole wedding party was a great & fun group. We tromped around the property and got a little creative with the photos.

    Such sweetness here. We even got to hang out with the neighbors sweet horses . Seriously it was a beautiful place.

    Baby G on the go!

    Yes indeed it is yet another adorable little boy on the blog this week. I am so lucky to get to spend time with these cute little guys! Meet baby G. This little guy make me work for the session, no doubt about it, but his cute mug is so very worth it. We hung out last Sunday when the weather was still blazing and has some fun in the sun, man he was on the go. Mr. G was not quite sure about me, but I did manage to capture some cute smiles and some delicious dimples.

    Anyway enough talk, on to the photos! Here are a few of my favorites so far:

    Little G is lucky enough to have an auntie who owns a beautiful working farm near his home. We spent most of the session tromping around playing with shovels and throwing hay. I love this old swing. He is still a little small to do it on his own, but cute none the less.

    we even got him on the horse! Don’t you worry mama was on the other side holding him still. He LOVED being on the big beast, I am so impressed. I think my daughter would have been completely freaked out.

    Ridiculous cuteness with the P family

    I started talking to the mommy of two beautiful little girls a few months ago about setting up a session. She described her family and property and I knew I had to get them in front of my lens. The “P” family has an amazing home to shoot in and around. It is superbly decorated, and on stunning forested acres. It also helped the youngest family members are over the top adorable. :) I had so much fun running around after these two! The whole family was so great, I had a horrible time pairing down the images for a sneak peek.

    Here are a few of my favorites so far:

    Meet “Big Sister” she was so fun, shhhh don’t tell mom I told her to jump on the bed. I just had to!

    Such a beautiful girl, and the room was so adorably decorated! T you have to tell me the name of your decorator. She did a great job!

    Meet “Little Sister” this little one may be small, but she has some serious character! Her room was also super cute, I just love that mobile!

    The property was absolutely beautiful to shoot on, really I have a million in this grassy meadow I just adore.

    We even tromped into the woods for a bit! I have to admit I ended up with a few mosquito bites, but so very worth it for these shots. How adorable are they!

    Weeeee! I had to grab a few of the kids in action. They are some lucky kiddos to have a cool play-set in their own back yard. I am sure that thing sees allot of action on nice days. I love Little Sister’s expression doing down the slide, priceless!

Thanks again for the lovely goody bag as well, my little one is crazy about all the delicious new treats in our cupboard.  I will have the whole set for you very soon, and I have some ideas of wall collections already.
