I had a great time with two beautiful sisters and their parents this week. Saying these girls are cute is an understatement. R and E were full of fun and hilarious the entire session. Even if it was a bit cold out. I had a blast chasing down these two and teasing them into smiling for me. I like to think of my kids sessions as play dates, and this one really was. We ran all over a local park and found all sorts of hidden treasures. I can not wait to finish the entire set.
I had a really hard time picking, but here are a few of my favs so far:

This is Ms E. She likes to make up songs and talk about boogers, that’s my kind of girl!

And this beautiful young lady is Miss R. She kept me on my toes with her sharp whit, she is a smart one for sure!

These two really do have fun together. Some times siblings bicker during a session, not these two they were great for me the whole time. I loved watching them together.

And the whole family. Even Mom & Dad are beautiful, it is almost not fair. I loved the dissipating fog here too, with the bright colors. It is early winter in Oregon for sure.

Someone loves her big sister can you tell.

And this one I absolutely had to post. It really does capture our morning, and completely cracks me up!
I had a wonderful time chasing after these two!
Christi thanks so much for calling me to set it all up and being flexible with the weather. I will have the whole set for you very soon. Lots more fun stuff to come. I also thought I would throw in another blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to post comments on this entry I will give you $25 off a set of holiday cards.

Just under a year ago I met sweet little baby S as part of my “Baby’s First Year” collection. I have had the pleasure of getting to see him grow over the past year and today I bring you a few of his 1 year photos. It was a bit more of a family session since the little guy was having a clingy day, but we had a great time anyway. Here are a few of my favs so far:

I was loving the contrast of the bright colors and the country fog.

Such a cute little guy!

I am always a sucker for the “Mother and Child” images. I love this one, even if it is not exactly smiley. I love the way his mama is gently calming him down. Nothing compares to a mother’s touch.

Big sister, just as cute as always.

And of course “Father and Daughter” images get me too. These two are so sweet together, matching freckles and all.

Handsome big brother got in on the action too.

And just for Mama we found some fall leaves! It was a little hard since most fall leaves in our area are down, but we found some!
A thanks again for braving the cold late fall morning weather. I will have the full set for you very soon. And I know you love the blog comment challenges. So here is one just for you. If you can get 30 comments on this post I will give you $25 off a set of holiday cards.

Not too long ago I was contacted by a local couple about shooting their Christmas time wedding. I don’t usually book anything around the holidays but I agreed to meet with them since they were literally right down the road. I am so glad I did. Laura & Micheal are so sweet, and their whole family is adorable. It also helped that when I walked into their home it was covered with beautiful family photos. When people are big photography fans to begin with, you know it is going to be fun working with them!
This last weekend we meet up for a joint engagement & family session. I had a blast meeting all the kids and seeing them together. Even the grumpiest teen was smiling by the end of the morning.
Here are a few of my favorites so far:

The whole family, I can not wait for the wedding it is going to be fun.

( I am pretty sure I can hear the kids saying “Ewww Gross” right about now, but how cute are they!)

Speaking of sweet, how sweet are these two. These soon to be step brothers made me smile.

Ok there is a funny story behind this one. Laura brought this cute hat for the baby of the family to wear. Typical little guy style he was not into the hat at all. But one of the older kids jokingly put it on, and we ended up getting every single family member in it except the one it was intended for.
I know I am easily amused but this cracks me up.

And here is the little guy. This special little boy really stole my heart.

Our soon to be bride & groom again.
Laura & Michael, I am really looking forward to your big day. Your whole family was an absolute joy to hang out with. Thanks for bearing the cold morning with me. I will have more from our morning session for you very soon!

Lets take a walk down memory lane. Do any of you remember this beautiful belly? And then this little tiny brand new still in the hospital peanut? And then this amazing newborn?
Yeah me too, some of my all time favorite images there. And now this amazing family is back for more, and just as beautiful as ever. Just see for your self how little Mr. Big has, well, gotten BIG.
Can you believe that is even the same baby?!

Such an awesome chunky lump.

Such a sweet baby, and so good for me. I guess this is what I get when I train them early!

Kisses for “big brother”
And for something completely different, we did some photos of the whole family down the road at the most amazing setting. I have had my eye on this side road for a while now, so when Mr. Chubby’s mama suggested it I jumped at the chance.

Stunning location, beautiful family, does it get any better? It also helps these are 3 of my most favorite people too.

Just adore them.
So there you have it, a bit of a long peek but I could not help my self. Amber and Greg thanks for being so flexible this weekend and daring the Oregon weather with me. I adore you two, and cherish your friendship beyond words. Thanks for helping me make some special images, I hope you love them as much as I do.
