Here are a few of my random favorites so far:

Sarah’s dress was so stunning.

We had to make sure of the natural flora for the ring shots.

Though not the original plan, due to weather Sarah & Josh had their ceremony in a beautiful old rustic camp building. The light coming through the open walls was so beautiful! She loos so happy walking down the isle.

After the wedding we snuck off for some Bride & Groom portraits, they are so cute together!

The grounds of the camp were beautiful.

I loved these tree house/cabins they had at the camp. So fun, and such a different backdrop!

After a few with just the Bride & Groom we got the whole wedding party together.

Such a fun bunch!

If the previous ring shot was for Sarah, this one is for Josh!

And one last shot of our lovely couple, this one is probably one of my favorites.

Sarah & Josh, thanks for having me out to camp to capture your amazing wedding. I just adore both of you, it was my honor. I will have the whole set for you very soon!

Well when her sweet grandma called to say she was in town and wanted to schedule a photo session for the three generations of Brooks Ladies I jumped at the chance. Miss Madeline has grown leaps and bounds since I have seen her last, and gotten even more adorable. Really it is no shocker with a stunning mama and beautiful grandma. I had a wonderful time running around the park on a beautiful spring afternoon with these ladies.

Here are just a few of my favorites so far:

Miss Maddy loves her Nana.

And she also loves her “bubbles” aka dandelions. We had a great time making wishes can you tell!

We found a super cool old barn for some photos too.

Dear Brooks Ladies, thank you so much for giving me a call and working me into your vacation! I had a lovely time reconnecting with all of you. I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek, I will have the whole gallery ready for you ASAP. And while I am at it, why not start back with a blog challenge! We Started in SE Portland at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, a beautiful building! I hope we did not freak out the father too much by hanging Aimee’s stunning dress on his door!

Aimme was an amazing bride to work with. So beautiful and fun, seriously Aimee you looked amazing.

Dan was also quite the dapper fellow.

see what I mean, dapper right.

And of course our first look was fantastic. While Dan brought the dapper gentleman vibe, miss Aimee brought the va-va voom! I am pretty sure Dan lost his breath for a few moments there seeing his bride all dressed for the first time.

see what I mean, he could not take his eyes off her. I love this set here for a few reasons, you get the beautiful full wide shot and the close up view of the same moment.  How we pulled it off is I am out front and Kip is getting all ninja in the greenery to capture the shot on the right. This is one of the many reasons I love having a second shooter along for weddings. It is always nice to have different views of the same day to get a real variety of creative moments.

I just adore Aimee’s smile here.

We also found this amazing orange wall/garage door in the neighborhood. Just too perfect not to use, especially when orange was in the wedding color palette! Too perfect.

they are just so lovely together these two.

after portraits we made our way back to the church for the big event.

The chapel was set up beautifully, I loved Aimee’s stunning flower choices. Check out these unique arrangements.

Aimee looked nothing short of amazing walking down the isle.

the ceremony was beautiful and very moving.

I just loved being able to capture all the special moments.

After the ceremony and some family photos we took a short drive to the most fantastic reception venue. A converted warehouse owned by a wonderful family member of Dan’s. Seriously this place was amazing. Every little corner was bubbling with character.

Yeah pretty much amazing right!

Doing more ring shots was so fun, every corner had a classic car or fun antique to incorporate.

Check out Kip the ring shot master at work, and the rad result on the right. 100% Raddness.

Everyone had a wonderful time at the reception, you could tell. Lots of dancing and smiles all around.

We even had some mini pool sharks out and about.

Like I said these folks know how to throw a party, we had a great time roaming around the place snapping away.

and one last set with some of that amazing color the place was popping with. I could not get enough of these vintage cars!

Aimee & Dan thanks again for having me out to capture your big day. I really truely loved spending time with both of your amazing families & fun friends. You all know how to throw a great event! I am so glad it all worked out so well and I could be the one to capture it for you! I will have the whole gallery very soon for sure! These have been lots of fun to edit so far. We laughed, we smooched (ok they smooched) and we took some fun photos.

I hope it is worth the wait guys!

Emily’s dress & details were so fun. I loved the vintage flair to it all!

Stephen is so ridiculously fun. In case you can not read the upper right hand pic, that would read “Steve + Emily + Mr. T”

Emily’s girls took great care of her. Her hair & make up were impeccable.

Emily & Stephen were so cute together. You can tell all the anticipation was worth it. I love everything about them together, even down to the crinkled noses!

The Kennedy School had some great locations in side and out.

This crazy pipe stairway might be my favorite of all locations.

The whole wedding party was absolutely wonderful.

Gah these two are so cute together! I just loved everything about their day.

The girls were always laughing and keeping Emily smiling. So much fun to shoot.

And of course with this venue I just had to do some funky vintage treatments. These kind of echoed some of the old photos on the walls.

crazy right?!

Well I have been cooking up plans here at emily g photography and I am finally ready to share.

Every little detail was just how Megan wanted, “perfectly imperfect”. I think she said that about the bows on the flowers, but I thought it was so fitting for the day. If the rooms were ready late, so great time for a lunch with friends. That is just how the day went, these two were there to have a lovely event, and they did.

I could go on, and on about great Megan & Patrick were, and how fun their day was, but really lets get to the photos! I think they will speak for them selves.

Megan had such great details. From her beautiful peach colored dress, to the amazing pearls made by a friend, it was all unique and elegant.

Megan also has some awesome friends who hooked up the hair and make up.

Patrick was also had some pretty cool details. I dug the boating shoes.

Patrick was also cool and calm, these two were the most laid back couple.

The whole energy in Megan’s room was so calm but full of joy, I just love her mom & grandma’s face seeing her all dressed up. These women are all soo wonderful, I loved seeing their bond.

our first look set up was fun, I could tell these two were happy to be back together and start the celebration.

We did a lot of laughing during our time together.

I loved shooting them together, they were so sweet and chill.

Edgefield was also a great place to shoot, even the garden shed was a lovely backdrop.

This image while it was suppose to be romantic completely cracks me up. The thing is when even I asked Megan & Patrick to get “nose to nose” they would start laughing, I had no idea why, well finally they told me. While I was trying to be romantic, apparently if their faces were that close it was all blurry.  Duh, well from then on I just asked them to “get blurry”!

I love all the colors of the day, fresh and beautiful.

We had a lot of laughter can you tell.

Once were done with the portraits we made our way to the most important part of the day, the ceremony.

The whole ceremony was beautiful and moving. Their officiant (and a personal friend of mine) Sally did a wonderful job. I have to admit even I got a little teary. It was short, sweet and incredibly moving.

While the happy couple enjoyed their party and the delicious spread I had a little fun with their rings. Like I said Edgefield is an amazing place to shoot.

The best part of the reception though really had to be the dancing. Megan, Patrick and their friends were so fun! I could do an entire post of just dancing photos!

Like I said, fun fun folks.

and one last photo of our happy couple. We got a chance to take a little walk at sunset.
