helping out with your holiday shopping…

After a few requests this year I have decided to offer gift certificates in my standard line up.

Here is a layout I am working on:

    giftcertificate-layout-for-web

I can customize the gift certificate to suite the type of session it will apply to (newborn, kids engagement etc.) and either leave  space for a custom greeting or personalize it for you. We can have them cover, sessions, print or even coffee table books. The sky is the limit. It is also a great way to give a personalized gift for that hard to buy for family member that really has everything.

If you are interested let me know and we can start working on a plan today!

    Happy early Turkey Day!

I can not wait to post some sneak peeks this week, I had so much fun this weekend with some over the top cute kiddos. lazy recovery weekend & updates

We have been getting over a nasty cold/flu bug in our house. My poor hubby even came down with pneumonia! We are all on the mend now, but it made for a very mellow last week. I did take some photos while stuck inside and thought I should share a few snaps of my favorite little red head and other things.

I love her crazy mop of hair first thing in the morning.

Someone is still insisting on wearing sundresses even though the weather is so not summer anymore. I let her have one last weekend with her beloved frilly pink summer dresses and bare feet, but only in the house. Soon they will be packed away and toes covered with warm socks.

On the phone with her Uncle River. She loves to talk on the phone. Between her master of the eye roll at an early age and this phone love I fear for her pre-teen years already.

My sweet husband carves anything and every thing he can get his hands on. For the last few years he has been on a soapstone kick. This piece is for me :) I love it when he has his creative juices flowing, even if does make a mess while he is working.

Hope you all are doing well and not being hit too hard by the start of the cold/flu season. Here is to warm hot coco and germ free homes!

I am almost fully booked for the rest of 2008 for family/kids/senior portrait sessions. If you are looking to book in the near future call or email me ASAP. I have one spot left in October and just a few left in November. I am also loving how the 2008 Holiday Cards are coming out.  If you are a previous client and you want to order some cards with images filled from your Spring/Summer session let me know. The cut off date to get those ordered in time for the holidays is November 15th.

It has been a wonderful year filled with fantastic clients, it is only October but I am already excited to see what the new year brings. This week is going to be a busy one for this little blog. I have two lovely class of 2009 ladies that have sneak peeks coming, and an awesome family session to show off. Keep checking back, I will have lots to show here!

Just happy with how this one came out and wanted to share. :) I am working with the Newberg High school grad night committee on a fund raiser and needed a fun flier for them to pass out. I like how it turned out.

    my farm girl

The whole emily g family went out to the Clackamas County Fair a few weeks ago and we had a blast. This summer I have really tried hard to get some fun photos of my kiddo doing her thing, more snap shots really. She (ok and I) tend to go into portrait mode when I have the big camera and lenses out. So this summer I have taken out the “little camera” and left the “big camera” I use for client sessions at home. We got some fun ones at the fair.

She was very into the tractors, witch made her father oh so proud.

the baby cows were a hit too. Even though the barn was super dark i had to get her petting the cow.

but the biggest hit were the baby pigs. She wanted to stay and watch them for ever. Even the promise of more rides or cotton candy did not move her. It was so cute. They were very sweet, but man nursing one baby was hard, I can not imagine 10+! Many props to mama pig.

Hope you all are enjoying the summer events in the area. Fall will be here faster than we know it. I am already starting to book for holiday sessions! Crazy. If you or your family are going to need photos for the holidays, cards or gift prints let me know. It is time to start planning.

    Happy end of August!
