It has taken a few days as my NYE was spent capturing an amazing wedding, and the following day was spent recouping & catching up on sleep & email.

So today it was time to take a look back on 2011. It was such an amazing year. So many people came in front of my lens, and it really was my honor to capture so many weddings, couples, babies and families. Plus quite a few head-shots, non-profit events and even a bridal show.We  added in a studio space early in the year, and even changed logos and looks this year.

It really was just a fantastic year. I want to thank each and every one of you for your love ans support for emily g photography. This business really is an extension of my self and my family, and all of you friends, family and clients help me do what I love. THANK YOU!

Here are my favorites for 2011. I tried to pull at least one photo from each session. I hope I did not miss anyone!

Today we celebrate the wonderful fathers in our lives! We are lucky to have a great “Papa” (Grandpa) around to help/mentor/save the day when a mouse dies in the laundry room, as well as Super Daddy aka my sweet/supportive/handsome hubby. We are truly lucky in the Father department!

 

In our house we are celebrating with pancakes, gardening and BBQ. What are you all up to?

It’s yellow-ish, brings warmth, and is so pretty. OH ITS THE SUN!

It’s that time of year again when us Oregonians shed our fleece layers and venture out into the sun. Don’t over do it forget your sunscreen kids! Our family celebrated the pretty warm weather by doing a little gardening last night as you can see by the big smiles and dirty hands.

I LOVE this beautiful weather, and shooting out in it! Now is the time of year to start setting up summer portrait sessions! I have lots of fun ideas for beautiful outdoor sessions this year. If you are interested let me know asap, prime spots on the calender (weekends) will fill up fast.

I love what I do, and I adore all of my clients, but sometimes I have to go out there and shoot for just me. :)

I went out with a great community of photographer friends Among us were Ashley Forette, Aaron Courter, Bryan Rupp, Yasmin Khajavi, Ryan Wilcox, and Heather Espana.  You should also check out Bryan’s blog post from the day here and heathers here.  We had an amazing, silly joyous time clearly!

There are no words to say how wonderful this year has been. I have met so many amazing clients & new friends. I have witnessed some amazing weddings, newborns, babies, families, beautiful ladies and even a birth! And well most personally important our little family has grown to include my darling son. All in all it has been an amazing yeah personally and professionally. I want to thank you all for supporting me and my love for this whole photo taking thing.
