    beautiful belly in the gorge

Check it out yet another beautiful belly! I just love maternity sessions, especially with lovely couples in stunning settings. Lee lives in Hood River and wanted to showcase her love of outdoors and the Columbia River Gorge. We met at one of my favorite parks and took some images of her, her growing family and beautiful belly right before sunset.

Here are a few of my many favorites from our session…

Lee thanks again for meeting me out in the Gorge. It was really wonderful meeting the both of you, and capturing this special time for you. I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek! I will have the whole set for you very soon.

    Beautiful Belly

When Heather and I first started talking about her maternity session she had some very specific things she wanted to capture in the shoot. She wanted to do some images at home that were a bit more intimate and celebrated the beauty of the pregnant form. She also wanted to do some outside of her home and in her neighborhood of Kenton in NE Portland. She and Kevin had moved there in the past few years and really fallen in love with the neighborhood & community. She wanted this special time in her live reflected in the area she loves, and I was happy to oblige. When we met for the session I was so happy we went with her plan. Heather & Kevin’s home and gardens are filled to the brim with personality, and her neighborhood was so fun to explore.

Here are just a few favorites from our shoot together…

Heather and Kevin thanks for having me into your home. It was a pleasure to meet you two, and get a glimpse into your lives. I really had a great time capturing it. I can not wait to come back and meet your little lady. I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek, I will have the whole set for you very soon.

    Alicia’s Growing Family (& belly!)

I have some truly talented friends & colleagues. My super talented friend & owner  of Floral Design’s by Alicia is about to have her second child and asked me to capture this special time with her family and growing belly. It was also great timing as her son Egan was about to turn 4! We had a lovely time walking around my favorite wild life preserve, hunting for bugs, and taking some sun kissed photos.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Alicia thanks again for coming down to my neck of the woods. It was my pleasure to capture this exciting milestone. I can not wait to meet your baby girl in just a few short weeks. She is such a lucky lady to have such loving parents and a super cute big brother. I can not wait to capture you all again as a family of four. I hope you dug your sneak peek. I will have the whole set done for you soon.

sweet violet & her growing family.

It is no secret that I love the redheaded babies, and that I love capturing beautiful pregnant mamas. So when the two combine into one session  you get a very happy photographer. When Leslie and I started talking about this session I knew it would be a fun one. She and her family have a great love of the outdoors, and all things colorful, so we found a lovely city park to capture them in. We lucked into a beautiful day, and some pretty scenery. Violet took a bit to warm up, but was a pleasure to capture.  Oh how I miss my own redhead in rainboots & tutus!

Here are a few of my favorites from our session.

Leslie & Wind thanks again for meeting me out at the park, and braving the back & fourth weather. I am so glad it worked out! Your little girl is darling, it was great to meet all of you. I will be done with the gallery shortly, for now I would love to offer you a blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this blog post, I will throw in a darling set of brag books on the house! So leave some love people.
