As I type this the following wonderful, amazing, beautiful mam is giving birth to a beautiful little boy. I can not wait to meet him! I have been getting text messages all day about the progress. I am literally gitty every time my crackberry starts blinking.

Sho I am sending you lots of good labor love! If you get a chance to peek at these I hope they make you smile.

Last week I met Shoshanna & Mike in a lovely park in Salem. I had been in search of the perfect field of long pretty grass and we found it! Along with some beautiful other settings.

Mike & Shoshanna are so sweet together.

I told Mikey it was his job to make Sho laugh, he did a great job!

Sho is one of the sweetest ladies I know, this is one lucky baby!

I just loved these red flowers, perfect to put a beautiful belly in front of.

and of course I had to find a brightly colored wall! It would not be an emily session with out one! I love this old bookstore.

Thanks M&S for being up for anything. Including some bugs & burs! I hope all is well with your labor and the little dude comes out soon. I can not wait to point my lens his way. Much love to you two tonight.

just the most fun, over the top, sexy maternity session ever.

If you have lived in the Portland metro area for longer than 5 minuets you know this amazingly beautiful and witty soon to be mama. Daria is absolutely fabulous in every way, so when I heard on the radio she was expecting I just knew I had to do her maternity session. When she contacted me and asked if her fantastic husband Dallas could come, I said heck yeah!

We had a great time. I just love a pregnant mama that wants to show her sexy side. Daria & Dallas were a riot, and I think we got some great images!

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

You can tell Daria is loving being pregnant, she looks so comfortable with that beautiful belly.

They are so perfect together.

Such a bombshell this mama.

She knows how to vamp it up!

How perfect is the big belly heart. So glad this dress still fit D!

I love that they got all giddy talking about their little dude. He is going to be one loved baby.

So after a few of the ones above I asked Daria to break out a comic book or two.

I always like to include people’s art and passions. Well a comic book or two later we ended up in full on Batman costume! How freaking rad is Dallas for making it work.

this one is my personal fav. I love the contrast of the belly & the batman. I could see this one printed BIG.

Miss Daria art directed this shot. Have I mentioned they were super fun? I love clients with a vision.

and this one is just so them.

Daria & Dallas, I had an absolute blast meeting the two of you. Thanks for letting me have free reign over your home to make the shoot work. I hope you love these as much as I do. I can’t wait to hear all about your little dude. He is one lucky boy! I am already having visions of him cradled in super hero arms. And as I do for all new clients I would be happy to offer you a blog challenge. If you can get 25 people to comment on this post I will throw in an 11×14 mounted wall print. another amazingly beautiful soon to be mama {Portland Oregon Maternity Photography}

I am one lucky girl, I had not one but two amazingly beautiful maternity clients this last week. I have already posted about Aubrey, and now it is Shanon’s turn. Shanon is not only beautiful but very kind & sweet. She and her husband Jory (I hope I am spelling that right!) absolutely glowed while talking about the new little. I can tell this kiddo is going to be very loved.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

This one was Jory’s idea, I hope I pulled off the look he had in his head.

Again Shanon was up for anything. The window light in their house was just perfect for us too.

They have a beautiful home as well. Lots of art and detail everywhere. They have done an amazing job restoring the place on their own.

Shanon & Jory I had a wonderful time meeting the both of you. Thanks for being up for anything I have many more to show you very soon! I can not wait to come back and meet your new little one in the new year as well. Have a very happy holiday season! I will have the whole gallery for you very soon.

We have been planning Aubrey’s maternity session for quite some time. When she said she wanted to do a mixture of the regular sweet belly photos with a few on the sexy side I was stoked. I absolutely love an adventurous client!

Beautiful Belly {Portland Oregon Maternity Photography}

Oh how I have been missing the bellies lately. It has been a while since I had the pleasure of doing a maternity session and I have to admit when Amber called me to schedule hers I was excited to point my lens at her belly. Amber is a sweet heart to say the least, and she was a joy to have in front of my camera.

Here are a few of my favorites so far, and really truly it was hard to pick.

Little baby A is going to be a very lucky boy. He is so loved already.

Amber loves the fall colors so I just had to do this one.

We took a little walk near her home and stumbled uppon this perfect little lake side swing. How cool is this spot!

Amber I had a great time with you and I can not wait to meet little baby A. He is one lucky kiddo!
