I do, they are sweet, kind and endlessly loving.

I can not WAIT to see them as parents.

It seems like just yesterday I was shooting their engagement session. I also loved capturing their wedding just a few years ago. When these ladies contacted me a few months back to arrange a maternity session I was beyond thrilled for them. Inside that beautiful belly is one lucky baby! We had such a great time catching up, talking about birth & babies, and hanging out.

Jen started contacting me after she saw my darling little sister’s maternity photos this past summer. After chatting for a while we set up a shoot on a warm spring evening in the hills above our homes. After chatting with her and Clay a bit we figured out we actually knew quite a bit of the same people. My sister, old friends from summer camp and even a former mentor, it really is a small small world! It was a great evening, and I am so happy with the images we created. Even if we did have to dodge teens making out, and a few not so cared for trails on our hike.

When we first met to talk about their big day, I just knew these two would be wonderful. I had a great time capturing their love during a fun engagement session a few years back. And then the over the top fabulous big day too of course. So when Evan secretly told me a few months back they were expecting a baby girl I was THRILLED for them. I was  especially excited to capture the maternity session. To have two incredibly adorable and loving daddies, along with a set of super sweet birth parents for one big photo session was wonderful.  We met up on a cold & rainy day not too long ago and captured this special time.

Evan and Devin I am so thrilled for you two, and I can not wait to meet baby girl next week! (baby girl arrived a tad early just a few short days ago!) I hope the little lady lets you two get some rest, we are going to have so much fun with her photo session. :) Really, she is so lucky to have two such loving, and warm-hearted parents. It will be my pleasure to capture you all together. I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. I will have the whole set done shortly! For now enjoy the peek, and enjoy that brand new baby! Those first days of parenthood are amazing but they go by fast!

Using the city of Portland as the backdrop was important to her and Peter, and I was happy to oblige. Even though I live just a short distance out of the city proper, I love my hometown of Portland, OR. It is a city full of color, life and so much quirk. It was my pleasure to capture this darling couple, and their “bump in the city”. When the big day came we ended up with some low temperatures and a bit of rain, but they were totally troopers. I can not wait to meet the newest member of this adorable family.

Eva & Peter thanks again for being up for anything. I loved capturing you two and hearing about your coming little guy. I can not wait to meet him. I hope you all had a happy holiday season! I will be done with the whole set shortly.

I love watching families change, age & grown in front of my camera lens. Miss Scarlett started out as a bubbly baby, moved to a cute toddler last year, and is now a full fledged young lady. Oh and lets not forget a soon to be big sister. I had a great time catching up with this marvelous family, playing around the studio, and taking advantage of a lovely late fall sunset. I love combining a kids session with a few maternity images too, just makes me more excited to see them again when baby arrives!

You know that thing that came out in the day and warmed us all up? Yeah, I remember that. Don’t get me wrong I love the lush green thing we having going on in Oregon, due to the massive rainfall. But sometimes, when I am editing a session from just a few weeks ago with delicious warm rays of sun I miss it a bit. *Sign*

This particular session I want to show off is from just one of those days. I met Brandin and her darling hubby Westly in one of my favorite state parks a few weeks back. She wanted to capture the current state of her beautiful belly, and I was happy to oblige. She is such a stunning pregnant mama! I also know for a fact that the babies in her family tend to be super adorable (check out her nephews here & here). We had a great time chatting about southern weddings, babies and cousins.

I also posted about their album here. We also had fun the summer prior at the state fair. I just love working with these two, and the latest maternity session was no different. Julie is absolutely stunning as a pregnant lady. It was my pleasure to capture these two again. I can not wait to meet their little lady!

Katy is a very talented wedding planner here in town, and was amazing to work with. During the shoot she mentioned she was expecting her second baby this summer. So, being me I jumped all over her and insisted she hire me for her maternity photos. Katy is always beautiful, but I knew she would be an absolutely stunning pregnant mama. I was SO right. She is stunning, and her whole family was just adorable to work with. Little Jackson kept me on my toes, but he was so cute it was totally worth it. We had fun running around NW Portland and taking photos of this darling growing family.
