    Loads of fun at Silvercreek Falls {Newberg High School class of 2009}

    When Amy and Sophie contacted me about senior photos I knew they were going to be fun. They were very specific they wanted a totally different location, to shoot together, and not to do anything stuffy. I am pretty sure we accomplished those goals over the weekend when we did our first of two sessions at Silvercreek Falls. Here are a few of my favs so far of miss Amy, isn’t she beautiful!

    The falls made a great backdrop, but really with Amy it is hard to go wrong. She is such a classic beauty!

    And of course we had to do some more jumping! It was so freezing cold I did not even have to talk her into it!

    Amy I had a great time with you and Sophie! I am looking forward to our second session this weekend in Portland. I already have so many I love, with a whole other session coming I have no idea how I am going to pair it down to just one gallery! You guys were so great, this weekend will be fun.

    And as usual I will give you guys a comment challenge! If you can get 30 people to post a comment on this post (yes it can include you guys and your moms) I will give you $30 off one of the coffee table books I showed you! All you have to do is bug your friends and family to take a look and leave a note! See you this weekend for another fun session! Sophie’s peek will be up in the next day or so I promise!

    I am now fully booked for October unless things move around on me. I have a few November sessions left open and keep my schedule pretty minimal in December so I can keep busy on all of those holiday orders coming in. If you are interested in booking a session in 2008 call or email me ASAP to set it up before I am all full.

    The “B” family a modern day “Brady Bunch”

    You might recognize the beautiful blond in the below photo. Miss Makenzie is one of my class of 2009 senior reps, and I was lucky enough to spend some time with her entire family this last week.

    The B family reminds me of a modern day “Brady Bunch”. Full of individuals for sure, but such fun as a big group. They were up for all my crazy ideas, you have to love that!

    I am thinking the kids had no idea what to expect, but we tried to make it fun!

    We did some JUMPING…

    And of course being teens & pre-teens we had to rock out a little.

    We also did some individual shots of the kids. They were all such good sports for me.

    I was told certain family members *cough* Canada boys *cough* don’t like to smile. So of course I had to work my magic. You have no idea of the shenanigans going on behind the camera to get these smiles.

    Such a beautiful family!

    H I had a great time meeting ever last one of your family members! Thanks making the evening fun and being into my crazy ideas. I can not wait to show you all the rest very soon!

    Class of 2009 {Newberg High School}

    Meet Makenzie my brand new class of 2009 representative from Newberg High School! I am so excited to expand my senior portrait work here in my home town, and man I was lucky to find a super fun soon to be senior to help.

    I could not ask for a better representative/spokes model. Makenzie is beautiful, smart and most of all FUN!

    We had a great time tromping around Newberg during our mini session this week. We needed to get a few for some promotional materials I am working on and man it was hard to choose. Here are a few of my favorites so far. More to come!

    Makenzie I had so much fun with you and your girl Sam, thanks for following me on the wild goose chase to find the perfect field. I will have more to show you soon!

    If you are looking for senior portraits for the class of 2009 now is the time! The sun is out and the weather is great. My session style is laid back and lots of fun, I would love to meet more of the class of 2009! Any local area seniors & family members that comment below receive a free 8×10 or wallet sheet with their session! Give me a ring or throw me an email any time.
