Such a lovely start to a cold winter day, to see some fun images from a warm autumn session. I just loved working with Danielle & Rob, and wish them all the best on their NY wedding later this year! I am actually working on their guest book this week too.

So today it was time to take a look back on 2011. It was such an amazing year. So many people came in front of my lens, and it really was my honor to capture so many weddings, couples, babies and families. Plus quite a few head-shots, non-profit events and even a bridal show.We  added in a studio space early in the year, and even changed logos and looks this year.

It really was just a fantastic year. I want to thank each and every one of you for your love ans support for emily g photography. This business really is an extension of my self and my family, and all of you friends, family and clients help me do what I love. THANK YOU!

Here are my favorites for 2011. I tried to pull at least one photo from each session. I hope I did not miss anyone!

You might notice a few things are looking different around here right?

I am happy to announce after quite a lot of work emily g is re-branding! Same me, same girl with a camera, just a few new looks on the outside.

The red swirls have treated me well over the years, but it was time for something new, something more me!

Over the next few months I will be tweaking this blog, changing my packaging & cards, and later on launching a fancy new website! Please hang on with me as I transition. I am so excited about all the new stuff to show off! Megan at Clark & CO Design did a great job right!

It’s yellow-ish, brings warmth, and is so pretty. OH ITS THE SUN!

It’s that time of year again when us Oregonians shed our fleece layers and venture out into the sun. Don’t over do it forget your sunscreen kids! Our family celebrated the pretty warm weather by doing a little gardening last night as you can see by the big smiles and dirty hands.

I LOVE this beautiful weather, and shooting out in it! Now is the time of year to start setting up summer portrait sessions! I have lots of fun ideas for beautiful outdoor sessions this year. If you are interested let me know asap, prime spots on the calender (weekends) will fill up fast.

Here are a few of my favorites:

Moi! And one of my best girls and often second photographer Maricar Lianne. Our booth was pretty cool if I do say so my self. Recognize anyone in the mural behind us?

The Party place did all the table & other rentals for the show. Their space was also adorable. Kathy, who did all the pre-planning and on site management of that piece pretty much rocks.

Check out the lovely Miss Ashley! She is one of the event coordinators of Luxe productions, and did a great job of running the set up of the day. She is also incredibly adorable rocking one of the bridal dresses on hand!

Are you throwing a vintage inspired wedding? Well then you need to call Marigold rentals asap. They do vintage inspired rentals from large furniture to detailed pieces. These girls have some great style too.

Right behind my area was Hotel De Luxe, by far my favorite boutique hotel in Portland. I love shooting there! You can check out some of the times I have shot there here & here actually.

I had the pleasure of sharing a corner with the oh so adorable Jennie of Magnifigue Boutique. Man she has some amazing dresses, and is super sweet.

Also rocking the show was Ryan of Focal Point Media. Ryan is always fun to work with, and does such an amazing job capturing a wedding day.

Who is that you ask? Just the always lovely Alice of Mosco photo! Clearly we were all excited about the show.

Also right next to me was Cupcake Jones, I might have had a few tastings, and YUM!

Microbrew media was there showing off some amazing invitations and printed products.

Rafati’s catering also did an amazing spread. I am not going to lie sharing an isle with them was Delicious!
