just like the baby this one will get bigger by the time I am done.

    Airplanes & puppies

If you are a blog reader of mine you might remember a certain adorable baby this time last year, and then a charming little dude this past winter. Well the S man is back, and literally more adorable than before, if that is possible. I met up with the Mr. S and his adorable family at a beautiful park in Lake Oswego for portraits and ended up having a great time laughing about a certain some-one’s obsession with airplanes and puppies.

Here are a few of my favorites from our day:

    Such a big boy already!

Getting a little love from Mama. You can see where he got his beautiful smile.

Don’t be fooled he is not posing for me, he is checking out the “PUPPY!” behind me.

    Gah that smile is killer!

    And those sparkly eyes.

We even got Gran into the mix.

Clearly Grandma is well loved. :)

The park we used for the session had a beautiful little outlook over the river. Such a great spot.

We also got to do some fun reflection shots using the wading pool. Perfect on a hot night.

Is there anything better than a full on belly laugh?

And one more smile, gah he kills me.

Jessica and family, thanks again for meeting up with me and sharing your darling boy. He is still quite the charmer, I have just loved watching him grow! I hope you have enjoyed your sneak peek, I will have the whole gallery up very soon for you. Until then shall we have a little blog challenge? If you can get 30 people to comment on this blog post, I will throw in a darling little brag book on the house. So leave some love folks!

    Welcome to the world Liam

I took these a few weeks back when I got the chance to visit Jamie & Will at the hospital shortly after the birth of the ever so adorable Liam. I shot his Newborn session earlier last week and want to share those very soon, but there is something about these that just make me smile. Thoes first few days in the hospital, when everything is so fresh and new. The reality has not hit, and this tiny little person is wham, the center of your universe. It is a magical feeling.

Here are a few shots from my quick visit.

Proper newborn photos to follow very soon.

    Emery is one!

Just last week I had the pleasure of hanging out with Kristi, Robert and Emery at one of my favorite spots in the entire Portland area. McMinnaminns’ Edgefield is a fun place to hang, especially with an adorable One year old & her cute family. We had a lovely time walking the grounds and talking babies. You see miss Emery is not only just turning One, a huge deal, but she is also going to be a big sister this winter! Exciting stuff. Mom Kristi wanted to celebrate this fun time of life with a photo session in a fun place, of course I was thrilled to be the one to capture it.

Here are a few of my favorites from our time:

Miss Emery is so cute and full of personality!

She is also quite a family of her Daddy, check out the smooches here. :)

The whole family is lots of wiggly giggly fun, the wiggling was mostly on Emery’s part of course.

At Edgefield in one of the gardens we spotted a red door that Miss Emery fell in LOVE with. She could have spent hours opening and closing the thing. It cracked me up, but man we got some good smiles!

Check out that smile! This one might be my favorite of the whole lot. :)

The whole family got in on the red door action.

Miss E is also a fan of the puddles can you tell!

Again that cute smile kills me. Here is the birthday girl with her favorite blankie. I love her wiggly toes here.

    Weeee!

And one last shot of the whole family. So cute.

Kristi & Robert thanks for having me along to “your spot” and sharing your darling girl with me. She was a joy to capture. I hope you love your sneak peek so far. I will have the whole set for you very soon! And of course as new clients I have to throw down the blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this little blog post I will throw in a cute little wallet brag book on the house! So leave some love people.

    tender love in corvallis

A while back I got a call from a very sweet new Mama in awe of her new baby and wanting to capture every bit of it before the tiny and newness of it all slipped away. I told her that normally I do not travel as far as Corvallis, and normally we only do newborn sessions with babies under 2 weeks old. But this mama, well she knew what she wanted and she talked me into it. And I am SO glad she did. The whole family was a joy to work with, and little baby T was an absolute love. Working on these images today made me smile all over again.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Check out little miss. Such a sweet baby. And those eyes, gah she melted me!

All the details of her room and space were tender and so thoughtfully put together. Complete with hand knit bunny made with love by mama.

Mom & Dad spent some time in South America in the peace core and had some beautiful woven scarves and blankets. I loved working them in to the precocious baby photos.

Check out that face, such a sweet little girl.

Not many 6 weeks old would let me do my normal newborn moving and handling.

After a little while little miss woke up and blessed us with her amazing eyes again. So we packet up the family and headed outside into the beautiful weather.

The families yard is also beautiful, and perfect for photos. I love this set, clearly this little girl will have no shortage of affection.

I wanted to capture some of the details of the yard too, if little miss is anything like her parents she will be spending lots of time outdoors loving nature.

This shot might be my favorite of the whole family. :)

And one last shot of sweet little baby fingers handling the lovingly made beaded necklace made by her mama’s family and friends.

Bonnie, thanks so much for convincing me to come down to Corvallis. I had a wonderful time meeting you and your sweet family. Your little lady is quite the charmer!  I hope you are all doing well and enjoyed the sneak peek. I will have the whole set for you very soon. I am so looking forward to capturing your little girl as she grows throughout the next year. Of course as a new client I have to issue the blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this little blog post I will throw in a darling little wallet brag book on the house.
