It seems like just yesterday I was waddling up a flight of stairs with all of my newborn kit in tow getting ready to capture baby Banks. It was a great session, with a great little family. Well just over 3 years later  (or just under?) I was back to capture a darling baby boy, this time big B’s little brother! Erica & Mike you make some seriously beautiful baby boys.  Baby Michael was just adorable for me, and so smiley! It was great catching up with the whole family.

and then there were three….

it seams like just yesterday I capturing Julie & Kris’ stunning wine country wedding, how does time go so fast. Well time has flown, and that baby belly I posted just a few weeks ago is gone, and in her mama’s arms is stunningly beautiful baby Annalise. Baby girl was so good for me, so sleepy and curly. She was happy to don not only Beavers (for Daddy) but also Cougar’s (for Mama) hairbands. Such a good sport this one. I just loved capturing her, and this new family. There is something so special about those first few weeks in a child’s life and the making of a family. It truly is my pleasure to capture it with my camera.

I know I say it all the time, but the wedding community is full of so many amazingly lovely people. Perhaps it is because our job involves working with a celebration of love? What ever it is, I love my colleagues. I especially love my colleagues when they refer me to their clients, but it is the ultimate honor when they  trust me enough to photograph their own families. I captured Katy, a local wedding planner with Bridal Bliss and her adorable belly not too long ago. It was a fun session, so when she asked me to come back and photograph her newborn daughter I was super excited. While little Aryana got settled down we had fun chatting about all things Portland wedding, mothering 2 little ones, and much more.  My job is pretty awesome.
