Sweet Ruby Tuesday

I have been waiting for the arrival of miss Ruby for a while now. Her mama & papa  happen to be dear friends of mine, and I could not wait to see the perfect baby they would create.  Mary & Chris would not disappoint! Ruby is sweet & sassy for such a little miss, she had me wrapped around her little finger by the end of the session. I can not wait to see her grow up! She also is a very lucky little diva, incredibly loved by her parents and extended family. This little diva already has a huge fan club!

I know I always say this, but seriously, I wanted to eat her up. She was so good for me too! We ended up shooting on a super dark dreary rainy Oregon day, but little miss Ruby can light up a room. Cute hat by her loving auntie here.

mama also got into a hat purchasing mode before she arrived. I LOVE this little bear hat! The cuteness is just over the top.

Ruby’s cheeks just killed me too. The chubbiness is just the best!

A huge shout out to Mary & Chris for letting me work on a crazy idea. This holiday wreath was on the door when I arrived and I just ahd to use it. A few baby kicks & a little baby poo later the wreath was a casualty to the cause of cute baby photos. Thanks for letting me try out my idea guys!

Speaking of here are our  new Mom & Dad. Clearly this baby is not adored at all, not one bit. ;) These two are such natural parents already, I just adored watching their interactions!

Mary & Chris thanks again for being patient & letting me capture your little lady. I can not wait to see how she grows up over the next year and beyond. I am betting she has Mom’s stubbornness and Dad’s dry sense of humor, or maybe that is what I am just hoping for! She is just divine! And of course because miss Mary is a self proclaimed blog stalker I have a comment challenge to hook up! I don’t think there is anything more complimentary than being given as a gift.

You should remember the super adorable D family from just a few months back. Well Amy had a good friend about to have her own little one and thought a emily g gift certificate was in order. I was so excited to hear the news that my littlest client was born, and tried to wait patiently for the call. Really I tried! When I finally heard from Erica I was over joyed to meet the little guy! By this time he was 5 weeks old and a little more alert than your typical newborn, but really he was a great little model for me.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

and even a smile, I am pretty sure this one was for daddy. Or it could have been he was about to pee on me, who knows!

one thing Erica and I had in common is the love for the bare baby booty! Banks you may hate me when you are 16, but really I just had to.

and one last image from our session. Possibly my favorite. I love that little dude is the center of their universe, as it should be right now! This child is clearly loved.

Erica thanks again for having me out to your lovely home to meet your little dude. He is seriously adorable! I so enjoyed meeting all of you, and thanks again HUGE for including me in the Starbucks run. Dad you are a life saver!!! I will have much more for you to see very soon. lucky & loved

Sweet baby A is a very lucky little fellow. His mama and papa have wanted to meet his sweet face for a long time. You might remember their belly session here. Well the wait, wanting and work paid off, little Mr. A is nothing short of divine. I am not sure how a baby could be more loved :) It was my honor as a friend to come by and take a few snaps of the little fellow last week. The little dude would have nothing of the idea of sleeping or laying down on his own, but we still got a few sweet ones. He is so tiny and perfect!

Nothing sweeter than a mother and child. This little guy has no idea how lucky he is to have such an amazing woman as his mama. This is the photo I have wanted to do for you for so long Sho, i am so glad we got to do it. You are already such an incredible mama! I am so happy for all of you. This little guy is amazing. I can not wait to see him grow in to a little dude. Congrats again! I will have more for you soon. :)

As if this child needs an introduction…

You all remember last months super fun maternity session with Portland’s Radio Queen right? Well Daria & Dallas had the most amazing little boy last week.  I was tickled to go back for another session over the weekend. He was so good for me too, the perfect little model. I could pull out the longest blog post on this one, but I will keep it to a reasonable amount. I just had to share a few. He is such a sweet boy already, I am sure he will be quite the character. ;)

You can tell this little guy is very, very loved. Usually I have ask people to ignore me and just interact with the baby, these two are so in love with their little dude they could not take their eyes off him! Can you blame them? Yeah me either.

I also had the pleasure of meeting Daria’s mom Dale. She was so sweet, again this babe already has a huge fan club. Just look at that smile, how could you not love him!

and you know we had to break out the Batman again! I could do a whole post on these, but it is already a crazy long blog post so I will just show you my two favorite. :) The only thing we ran out of time for was the Lacrosse sticks, I am thinking when the little man is 6 months old we will have to hook that up!

Daria & Dallas thanks again for having me back to meet your little dude. He is simply divine, I know why you are so in love with him. It again was a pleasure to spend with with your growing family. I hope you are all getting a bit more sleep this week, I can’t wait to see him as he grows bigger and bigger. I am sure he will get even more fun! I will have the whole gallery for you up again soon. And after last times success, we have to do another comment challenge. I am thinking the maternity photo on the mantle needs a matching family photo.
