watch as they grow in front of my camera!

Airplanes & puppies

If you are a blog reader of mine you might remember a certain adorable baby this time last year, and then a charming little dude this past winter. Well the S man is back, and literally more adorable than before, if that is possible. I met up with the Mr. S and his adorable family at a beautiful park in Lake Oswego for portraits and ended up having a great time laughing about a certain some-one’s obsession with airplanes and puppies.

Here are a few of my favorites from our day:

Such a big boy already!

Getting a little love from Mama. You can see where he got his beautiful smile.

Don’t be fooled he is not posing for me, he is checking out the “PUPPY!” behind me.

Gah that smile is killer!

And those sparkly eyes.

We even got Gran into the mix.

Clearly Grandma is well loved. :)

The park we used for the session had a beautiful little outlook over the river. Such a great spot.

We also got to do some fun reflection shots using the wading pool. Perfect on a hot night.

Is there anything better than a full on belly laugh?

And one more smile, gah he kills me.

Jessica and family, thanks again for meeting up with me and sharing your darling boy. He is still quite the charmer, I have just loved watching him grow! I hope you have enjoyed your sneak peek, I will have the whole gallery up very soon for you. Until then shall we have a little blog challenge? If you can get 30 people to comment on this blog post, I will throw in a darling little brag book on the house. So leave some love folks!

tender love in corvallis

A while back I got a call from a very sweet new Mama in awe of her new baby and wanting to capture every bit of it before the tiny and newness of it all slipped away. I told her that normally I do not travel as far as Corvallis, and normally we only do newborn sessions with babies under 2 weeks old. But this mama, well she knew what she wanted and she talked me into it. And I am SO glad she did. The whole family was a joy to work with, and little baby T was an absolute love. Working on these images today made me smile all over again.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Check out little miss. Such a sweet baby. And those eyes, gah she melted me!

All the details of her room and space were tender and so thoughtfully put together. Complete with hand knit bunny made with love by mama.

Mom & Dad spent some time in South America in the peace core and had some beautiful woven scarves and blankets. I loved working them in to the precocious baby photos.

Check out that face, such a sweet little girl.

Not many 6 weeks old would let me do my normal newborn moving and handling.

After a little while little miss woke up and blessed us with her amazing eyes again. So we packet up the family and headed outside into the beautiful weather.

The families yard is also beautiful, and perfect for photos. I love this set, clearly this little girl will have no shortage of affection.

I wanted to capture some of the details of the yard too, if little miss is anything like her parents she will be spending lots of time outdoors loving nature.

This shot might be my favorite of the whole family. :)

And one last shot of sweet little baby fingers handling the lovingly made beaded necklace made by her mama’s family and friends.

Bonnie, thanks so much for convincing me to come down to Corvallis. I had a wonderful time meeting you and your sweet family. Your little lady is quite the charmer!  I hope you are all doing well and enjoyed the sneak peek. I will have the whole set for you very soon. I am so looking forward to capturing your little girl as she grows throughout the next year. Of course as a new client I have to issue the blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this little blog post I will throw in a darling little wallet brag book on the house.

blond curls & silly faces make me happy

It seems like just yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting this adorable families’ newborn session. Back then Bella was teeny tiny, Abby was still learning the words for “big sister”. Well the adorable sisters are back, and both SO BIG! The whole family met me last weekend for a very warm, but fun session in downtown Newberg. We had a good time catching up, talking about small towns, Hawaii and new siblings.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Big girl Bella! Such a sweet pea.

Bella loves big sister, I do believe she is watching Mama & Abby do the hula here.

And here is our beautiful big sister. Her big brown eyes are just killer!

She was playing shy with me, but I got the smiles.

Cute girls! The squishing/love reminds me of my little ones.

They also love their wagon, can’t wait till mine are big enough for wagon rides!

And of course the whole cute family.

Clearly there is no shortage of love in this family.

Bella’s silly faces crack me up.

Abby is so darn cute!

:)

Smiles, tickles, squishes, smooches, yep that is a family!

Thanks guys for joining me despite the hot weather, I had a great time seeing you all again. I can not believe how the girls have gown, they are just so adorable. And because you did so well last year, lets have another comment challenge shall we? If you can get 30 comments on this post I will throw in a lovely little brag book for mum & dad!

And then there were 4

I have been taking photos of the Dobler family for some time now, you might remember them from way back when Miss Addy was a baby, or from when they moved into their beautiful new home, well I am back again, but this time for the newest baby D addition!

Meet Little Miss Elly

Isn’t she just a doll?!

The whole family is just adorable, and so very happy to have the newest member home and healthy.

Big sister is wonderful too, check out the gentle sweet kisses she is giving her baby sister.

Miss Addy is so stinken cute, really I did not think it was possible for her to get more beautiful!

And such a good big sister, so gentle and patient. I was super impressed!

Baby is a a lucky girl, I love this one of her getting some love from her beautiful mama.

Such an itty-bitty little thing too. Look at her in Daddy’s big strong hands. and Feet! Oh how I love the baby feet.

Little one did not want to sleep for us, so alert at just 2 weeks old. I love her eyes though, so beautiful.

but in the end she did cave and pass out for us. Oh her little lips kill me.

And one last photo of the little lady. Such a sweet girl.

Keith & Amy thanks again for having me out and letting me capture your family again. Your little ones are so darn sweet. Congratulations again to your family on the new addition. I am so looking forward to watching her grow. I will have the whole gallery very soon. But.. you know what time it is right? Comment challenge time, this time for a cute little brag book. Lets say 30 comments this time shall we, and see if we can break your time record? Ready, set go! Leave some love people. :)
