    love, ice-cream & tacos

When we started talking about engagement session ideas, Tricia immediately settled on her & Mark’s current hometown of McMinville OR.

You see this adorable little town settled in the heart of wine country has changed so much over the last few years. They wanted to show off some of their favorite spots. The old downtown has really made the consensus change to embrace all sorts of fun wine tasting rooms, excellent artisan restaurants, and other boutiques. As well as Mark’s favorite taco shop, and one of the cutest ice-cream shops I have ever seen. After talking with these two I know it would be a great spot for our session. A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to spend time with Tricia & Mark and tp get to know them more before the big day next month.

Here are a few things I learned:

Things that make Mark smile: Tacos, excellent taco shops, good wine, his slightly neurotic but adorable dog, and of course his stunning fiance Patricia.

Things that make Tricia smile: vintage glassware, small town farmers markets, ice-cream, chunky artsy jewelry and of course her hansom fiance Mark.

I totally dig these two, and had a great time capturing them in their hood. Here are a few of my many favorites:

Tricia & Mark thanks again for meeting up with me, and taking some time out for the session. I had a great time getting to know you guys more, and capturing you with my camera. I am really looking forward to your wedding in just a few short weeks! For now I would love to throw down a comment challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in an 11×14 wall print on the house. I will have the whole set done very soon. :)

    SO leave some love people!

Before hosting the Olympics they hung out with me for a bit…

Is there anything more adorable than a 4 year old girl with blonde ringlets?

Yes, yes there is, it is a 4 year old little girl with big blue eyes, blonde ringlets and the cutest British accent you have ever heard. This little darling comes complete with a super cute little brother with perfect baby blues and chubby cheeks to boot. I am telling you the cuteness was off the charts at this session. The whole family was lovely to work with, but the kids really stole my heart. We had a great time tromping around their best friends home here in Oregon during their visit to the states.  It was so fun to see these two little ones interact, and play for the camera.

Here are a few of my favorites from our session together…

Caroline, thanks again for making time in your vacation to see me. It was lovely meeting you all, especially your little ones. They are so adorable, and were so good for me. I hope the rest of your travels were fun, and you had a safe trip home. I will have many more images to show you very soon.

    Katie & Jim: the wedding

    please be prepared…

this is going to be a long post…

    Ok a super long post…

    Ok really a massive post..

See the thing is that I adore Katie & Jim, they are massively awesome. They are funny, kind, full of energy and they know how to throw a wedding.  You might remember them from their engagement session not too long ago. Well the wedding was even more fun. The big day was held at the always beautiful Mt. Hood Bed & Breakfast above Hood River. The morning started out a bit wet, but gave way to a beautiful day. The entire property was perfectly set, and the mood was so fun to be around.

It was a wonderful wedding, and ended up with SO many photos. I warned you, get ready for a long one.

Katie & Jim it really was my pleasure to capture your amazing wedding. You two are so fun to be around, your love for life & each other is infectious. I wish you two so much joy in your life together. Katie I have to say that you were one of the most entertaining brides of all time. Your energy is infectious, and the chemistry between you & Jim was my pleasure to capture.  Jim you looked dapper as well, and you are awesome, but really your lady’s dance moves & bright stole the show.  It really was great to meet & capture your entire group of family and friends. I hope you have enjoyed your sneak peek. I will have many, many more for you soon. Friends & Family if you would like to see the entire gallery when it is ready please leave a comment below and I will send the link out when it is all ready. :)

    double adorable

How can you not smile at these two. Meet one of the cutest sets of twins I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The little mr & miss were darling, and the whole family was just adorable. Even with a last moment venue change we had a great time tromping around a local park on this warm summer morning. Talking about bugs, looking for fish, and giggling, allot of giggling. For real, my job is pretty amazing.

Here are a few of my many favorites…

Colleen thanks for meeting me out at the park, and being so flexible with all the timing & locations snafus. I think we ended up with a great spot, and had a good time. Your entire family was lovely to work with, and your little ones were adorable. I hope you have liked your sneak peek. I will have more for you very soon. For now I would love to offer you a little blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post, I will throw in a set of darling brag books.

    So leave some love folks.
